Idea for a new video series: Strides' Guides, a deep dive into a neighbourhood, it's history and culture. You always manage to drop some local knowledge on your travels and I just thought that a more focused, neighbourhood specific deep dive walk could be a cool thing. You and Ken have done more for my knowledge of the different vibes of the GTA than nearly all the realtors on youtube!

I lived in that hood for years. More specifically, further east, between Broadview and Pape, either slightly north, and then later, south of Danforth. Greek Town, as they call it. Lots of great restaurants and places to shop. But I haven't been there since 2005 when I moved back to Vancouver.

Dear Mr. Johnny Strides... At least it was sunny on this vlog, because it was pouring buckets of rain in my GTA town of Richmond Hill.... It got so bad raining outside I decided to put up my umbrella inside the house while watching this vlog, I did not want my laptop getting drizzled upon.... You know, it may look silly for a guy to wear rubbers and a rubber raincoat inside, but that's cool in my book... But it even got crazier when the Russian Submarine, Putin, pulled up next to my basement door and asked for directions to the St. Lawerence Sea Way.... Hhhmmm?... It seems the Sub-Driver took a left in the Canadian Artic rather than a right because the Sub-Driver was in search of Greenland.... I told the Sub-Driver the directions and that he should get moving or perhaps the RCMP might ticket his Submarine for triple parking... the end... Always in Good Taste... CHEERS!....
