Stjernekamp = Star game? I don`t know the norwegian to english translation for that but anyway: Stjernekamp winner Adam Douglas invites to a concert from Nordstrand Church on Christmas Day. He wants to talk about his relationship with Christmas, both as an American and a Norwegian.
Very impressing how he speak fluent norwegian, and even in my dialect.
This concert suddenly show up in my television back in 2017, so I recorded it and will now share it to you. He had a Christmas concert in Fosnavåg in 2018, and will also have a concert this year same place.
Unfortunately for me, so is it already sold out. Please come back next year to Fosnavåg Adam.

We are again pleased to welcome Adam Douglas to Fosnavåg with "An American Holiday with Adam Douglas".
Last year, this was the Christmas concert that was first sold out in Fosnavåg. The tour came about after Adam had a dream of being able to present real American Christmas music to the Norwegian people, and has collected songs that for him symbolize Christmas and this great time.
"An American Holiday with Adam Douglas" sold over 10,000 tickets last year, and the album with the same title was one of their best-selling albums before Christmas at the Record Company last year. Both have received rave reviews. This year's edition of "An American Holiday" gets one of Norway's best live bands, reinforcements from Traces Gospel Choir - in addition to the boss himself. In total, there will be 12 musicians on stage, and is one of the biggest traveling Christmas tour in Norway. In a few years, Adam Douglas has become one of Norway's most hard-working artists, with his great voice and delicate guitar playing.
This will be a magnificent Christmas concert with an American roots, americana, soul and jazz expression. Here the theme will be winter and Christmas. There will be some classic Christmas songs, while getting new versions of old hits and some original songs. With him on stage he has a fantastic band and choirs that will make for a magical atmosphere. The material is presented with a clear nod to both American big band jazz and 60's soul music, performed with generous doses of love, just what an evening like this!
Adam Douglas was raised in Oklahoma and has lived in Chicago and Minneapolis. He almost fell into a scene when he was eight years old and has never looked back. Adam Douglas is a gambler in the proper sense. His music is about playing for people. About the moments that happen on stage, and about the moments that happen in the meeting with the audience.
It was only in the fall of 2017 that Adam Douglas stepped out of the underground into the thousand homes. Last Saturday he solved new musical challenges in Stjernekamp and ended up winning the entire competition. In July 2017, he performed his Christmas concert with great success in front of four crowded halls in Nordstrand church in two days. The recording was broadcast by NRK in Space Christmas, and shows a mature artist with strong ability to communicate and enjoyment.
2019 will be another hectic year for Adam Douglas with concerts all over the country, and together with the audience he looks forward to this year also lowering his shoulders and recording Christmas.
