To be honest, intro series from this channel are somewhat controversial. I’m not talking for this Jhope’s video only, but for all the intro videos. I’ve waited until the 4th member to voice this out. Some facts are inaccurate, the narrative may be misleading based on the biased intrepretation of the content creator. You may continue with the series, but I would recommend for you to take it with a pinch of salt. 7:00 prime example. NOOO!! HE WAS NOT FIRED, HE LEFT BUT CAME BACK!

When BTS are together they have that 'something' that you can't define. I think going off an doing solo projects really helps them mentally and creatively so they can bring that experience back into the group. BTS have had time off here and there but their first official extended break was in 2019, the first since debut in 2013 and I think last year was the first Christmas they had with their families. Crazy. No one works harder than BTS.💜

I learned that about a wine glass a few years ago…who knew such delicate design had such an important function. We are not to hold the glass itself, we are to hold the stem…something about room temp vs body temp and effect of taste, similar to the concept of letting the wine breath and aeration to maximize wine flavor. JHope is holding the wine glass correctly.

A lot of these clips were from their early years. J-Hope doesn't have imposter syndrome. He's generally a pretty confident guy and now when reporters ask him how he feels when he makes a mistake, he just brushes it off. But early on, it was really hard for him because he was often seen as the "ugly" member (him and RM) because he doesn't fit traditional Korean beauty standards for men and he got called "horse-face." He actually turned that around and made his BT21 (cartoon characters modeled after each member) character a pony. LOL so joke's on the haters! Edit: ok after watching this whole video, I have to say...no shade to whoever made it but I feel like she exaggerated a lot of the stuff in her video. She made it sound like no one appreciated J-Hope and no one recognized his contributions and sacrifices and that's just not true. He faced hardships like all of the members but she made it sound like he was ignored and unappreciated and that's just not the case.
@miyuryuu72602 жыл бұрын
It's not korean traditional beauty. But korean idol standard beauty. There is no traditional korean beauty for man that must looks like a flower n pretty boy, that an idol beauty standard in korea and japanese idol industry. A flowerboy/pretty type visual. That why not all public (especially male) like male idol even they mocking at male idol visual as sissy coz looks like a girl with thick make up and not manly. But for idol fan, they will prefer a flowerboy type looks n that become a standar in idol industry.
@miyuryuu72602 жыл бұрын
Btw about horse face, korean people like use animal references for face type, there is a puppy/dog face type, cat, fox, horse, turtle, bunny even Dinosaur type 😂. And people who have horse face type it didnt means they are ugly, but it refers for people who have long features type of face (usually who have a long nose, pointy chin, firm jaw and have large teeth). Like siwon from suju, he is one of the most handsome member, but he also get called as horse-face because he have long face features. Other popular idol that also called as horse face type is EXO's Suho, Shinhwa's dongwan, suju's Zhou Mi and many more.

I seriously think Hobi shine the brightest when he teach others, his dancing skills are superior, one of the members even said choreography that take others hours to do for Hobi only minutes. He is that talented. I think he often scale down his talent because he do not want to outshine others, that is why you will see many videos online where he participated in activities outside BTS to mentor other younger artist/trainee as well. He is also someone who lead BTS from the back; Namjoon even said he is like BTS 2nd leader. I am so proud for him and now he will perform at Lollapalooza ☀️🌈✨

The thing about not hiding behind false humility and embracing stardom as a responsibility is so J-HOPE. Self-deprecation was never his thing, as seen in interviews. RM sees J-Hope as his second in command and a great support. He may be bubbly but when it’s time to be their dance captain he’s calm, professional and supportive. He seems to have endless patience with Jin who is a great dancer but struggles to learn the routines. I find it sad that he says their lives are lonely. I haven’t heard of him hanging out with friends. V and Jimin mention their friends quite a lot but I hope he does have friends outside of the group. The other members are like brothers which is not quite the same. The big problem for them is forming romantic relationships when some fans have it in their heads that they will meet them and they will fall in love with them. Because of this they can’t bear to see their idols with anyone else. He also has said that his family worry about him because he’s so quiet when they see him. No doubt he’s worn out from having to be J-Hope and not Hoseok when he’s with the members and especially in front of the public. He’s their vitamin but he can’t keep that cheerfulness up all the time. Being an idol brings wealth and success but has its downside.

This series of individual introductions was such a great idea and I agree, JHope whilst being The Dude, still seems mysterious. I don’t think many people would know the real him, despite the level of scrutiny encouraged by Big Hit from the word go. I don’t know of an alternative individual series but the one off 7 member introduction by Taylor is probably the best out there in my opinion. He didnt got fired.. he left by his own but one of the guys (I don't remember who, I think JK) convinced him to go back. I feel in the beginning he always felt pressure from being with RM and Suga, bc they started doing music and rapping before BTS and he did it after.. always being called a fake rapper bc of that even tho he had hiphop in his blood from dancing and rly identifies as a rapper and producer now... being questioned all the time and being in the shadow of the other members must have been rly hard... specially since at first he didn't have as much support as the other members. I think all members are perfectionists, I'm too... and that sometimes doesn't let you see what you have already accomplished, bc you focus in what you need to improved insted of what you already did great... Being perfectionists is actually a good thing, that's why we have the master pieces they give us, but with a healthy balance... Like look at our Hobi, he is the first south korean artist to headline a mayor US festival in history.. alongside all the accomplishes he had with BTS... if that's not proof of his talent idk what it is...

Thank you soo much for taking your time to learn more about them, but if I can be really honest with you, I don’t like these videos. They are veryyy outdated and do not show you the other side to them. I honestly think there’s a lot of misconception from these videos you don’t see their growth or who they are as artists. I haven’t said anything for the last few days but after this video today, I think a normal introduction video would have been better. My opinion is just mine though, and please keep doing you. But I do hope you react to an actual updated intoxication video after. I personally think maybe you should have started with the introduction video and then gone into all these struggles so you can understand it better. Also J-Hope/ Hobi/ Jung Hoseok did NOT get fired. Before their debut, he wasn’t sure if they would debut and left, and he hugged Jungkook and they both cried. RM told the company how much Hobi was needed and all the members agreed (even then they had a really strong brotherhood and friendship), so he decided he would stay with Bangtan no matter what. He’s the dance leader, a producer/ songwriter/ composer, and has over 120+ credits to his name. He’s really amazing. As well as rapping he is also a sub vocalist. I’m OT7 so I love all of them equally, and I’m sorry I didn’t have time to leave a message in your other videos, but I hope you understand where I am coming from. Thanks

I'm binge-watching your old videos and I like almost all of them so much until now. But this...this I can't do it. This video you reacted to is heavily biased, twisted solo stan narration. I'm sorry you've stumbled on a thing like this. Please know that every member loves Hoba so much, that every one of them litteraly live for one another and adore one another. That they love Hoba music and can't live without him. That the company never fired him, he was determined to go but Namjoon, the company and the other members convinced him to stay and told him there's no BTS without him (and they were right). Yes, they call him and Jin "cowards" from time to time, but in a sweet and silly way because they are scaredy cats and easy to jump, that's all. And the thing about hiding behind humility... It's a no. They are all the most humble men, very grounded and very aknowledge of their "power", influence and role. It's not fake, they are all like that.

Hey thank you for going through the journey with me! And yeah this series was kind of hard to deal with but during that week we were doing a solo song and a solo introduction video and some were harder to find. I’d like to go through it again and see how wrong it was knowing now what I know about them :) Hope you’re doing good today!

He was originally supposed to be the leader. He couldn’t stand the pressure. And he was told he was too ugly.
@ldlm5393 Жыл бұрын
That’s not true. Namjoon was the leader because he was the first to join BTS.

Hi ! I just saw that Taylor has release the final version of her introduction video. I would really love to see you react to it : kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqa5kKx_md2Nhrs You have info on the group and also the members individually. It's so more accurate for now I think ^^

I was okay with videos dedicated to the other members, but I feel like this one was a bit lacking and poorly structured, unfortunately didn't show what hobi went through that well imo, for example, I know this is negative, but it's important to know that in their first years, some haters literally made a petition for jhope to leave bts (because they ""didn't find him attractive""), so hobi has had to deal with a lot of shit that wasn't shown here he also wasn't fired from bts, he left cuz it was too much for him, but he came back because of the other members anyways, there's always something to take away and you manage to find a nice perspective every time so we appreciate you a lot :)

He was never fired. I think the person who made this guide made assumptions by just watching clips which don’t show the whole conversation. J Hope chose to leave the group as he wasn’t sure it was the right path for him. RM convinced him to come back. He was convinced the group would not make it without Hobi. I’m convinced that the band would never have achieved what they have or even survived without every single member. For instance, if it wasn’t for Jin, I’m not sure if JK would have stayed. He was 13 when he began as a trainee and was missing home terribly. Jin would take him home to have dinner with his family and basically took him under his wing. Every member has been essential in many different ways.

I've tried watching your series on "Struggles & Victories" of each member but I just can't. It has nothing to do with you, I really love your reactions but this series, in my opinion, is just not that good. I love BTS but these are pretty boring and and have some misinformation. If you really want to delve into all that is BTS and learn more about their career from start to current, I suggest The Rise of Bangtan. It is currently at 21 episodes with 21 videos of deleted scenes and 21 videos of bonus content. I have watched most of the episodes more than once and am never bored. I will continue to watch your reactions to their music but just can't with this series. Love and Peace. ❤

I saw the words “he was a tanker in the beginning”, and he “was fired”. Don’t really like the misconceptions in this video :(

He did not get fired. Wrong info. If he had been fired he could not have come back at his will because the members begged him to. The narrator is very negative here. Indulging in self pity on JHope's behalf. 🤦🏽♀️ But still if you filter out those things it is much more informative than most current videos.

I dont think JHope clip do justice to him .. it could be better. First of all, he was not fired but left the group. He wrote amazing songs n he has a good n unique style. His love for fashion was not brought up. His caring go team members wàs not emphasized n he is very close to his sister despite what happened when he was young etc etc .. his vocal n music style is simply awesome. I didnt enjoy this video clip of him. Just my thoughts and opinion. I love JHope .. so, i am abit upset.
