John, our bias is an amazing man isn't he ?? So much strength, so much stamina .. he could have reached back to the starting point sooner but Jin being Jin couldn't leave his staff behind .. The teasers were actually a bit of a prequel to this episode. They gave some behind footage of them deciding to do this, and showed his arriving at this house he stayed at. I recommend going back and watching them as well. They're all short, but very cute. Very Jin.

Still can't believe we get to see Jin and hear him it still feels surreal after months of Jin drought. This episode first and foremost made me realise how much I've missed the type of comfort he gives me 🥹 next episode looks so chaotic and fun! He visited his old highschool and the day he was spotted filming this he caused major chaos at the school the boys were going crazy over seeing him he had to keep shushing them 😂

It's Chef Paik, SK's celebrity chef. The guy is super-well known (Jin went to a market with him and Chef got all the attention) and the older crowd loves him. He has a YT channel, restaurants, product lines (I've seen some at Hmart in the US), and all kinds of entrepreneurial projects. He was around for Jin's alcohol vlog, and I would not be surprised if they go into business together. They have a funny dynamic when they hang out. Anyway, censoring the name in order not to promote Paik's businesses is hilarious, because everyone in the country recognizes his face and voice immediately.

They were already looking at a possible brewery before Jin enlisted so hopefully we'll see something with the two of them soon. Their chemistry in Jin's alcohol vlog is delightful to watch. Chef Paik's Netflix series is also good.

Same bias, but I love them all! Jin is naturally funny. He's hilarious and witty without even trying! He really makes your day really brighter... and easier. I relate so much to Jin because we're similar in many ways --- introvert and funny around people I'm comfy with would be some.

This episode was so fun to watch but also soooo emotional at the end. Him tearing up and mentioning that ARMY should take up hiking when they need a turning point in their life... just like for him is the case now, finally free from all the burden and hate that came with the enlistment topic and him being so grateful that he finished his service in good health😢 I'm just so happy and relieved seeing Seokjin being more free and confident than ever. KSJ1/his 1st ever solo album is coming soon btw (Harper's Bazaar Korea dropped many hints) 🥹🥹🥹 PS: love your reactions!

I love that he got back to work as soon as he could. I was actually surprised that he got back to work so quickly ,I was kind of hoping that he would get to go back home and visit his family for a few days and then start working on his new music.Very impressed with anyone who has hiked that trail!

Thank you for this reaction, John! Second time watching this and glad to watch it with you. Jin has such an engaging and goofy personality that anything he does is entertaining. The four prequels he did before this episode are so delightful in different ways, you should react to those too. He must be sure-footed as a goat to scamper down those steep slopes, his poor staff probably decided not to risk a stumble and just let him go, lol! Those glimpses of the next episodes just whet your appetite for more Run Jin 😊😊😊

l love hiking & this episode got me so happy that he got to do a long hike. Reaching the peak & seeing stunning view that nowhere else you can see definitely worth it! And YES the meal after also is part of the memory after a long hike. I would say this trail is very hiker-friendly with proper steps/platforms installed Added this to my place-to-go list!

Since you like tech... you might like this story. Jin did such a great job. I loved this. I'm so proud of him. My dad was in the Korean War. (I was adopted later in my parents life). He joined while still a senior in high school at 17 because he didn't want to get drafted into the Army infantry. Since he was super in math the Air Force took him and trained him in in electronics and communications. However this didn't keep him from getting shot at. Korea was completely devastated during the war. Part of my dad's job was to help build the civilian and military communications. That meant having to go up in the mountains to put in towers and listening stations to listen to N. Korea, China, and Russia. So they had to get up there with just rations and their equipment. Sometimes snipers from the other side would try to get them. When I was a kid the TV show MASH ( a somewhat dark comedy about a mobile military hospital during the Korean war) was very popular popular. It's finale was one of the most watched ever... Oh but my dad hated that show and would just rant about it. Each generation since then has spent time in South Korea in the military. My nephew & his wife lives there now. He was military... but afterward, he went to work for a civilian contractor there. So I'm hoping to go visit him after BTS gets out of the military. I worry that June will be too crazy a time to visit. I love fall & winter so I think I might go in October. Of course, if BTS starts touring that may change my plans.

He's so funny! The censors are brand names so can't be shown. Mr. Paik is a famous chef and friend of Jin's (Eat Jin). I climbed the Prezzies once - Adams, Jefferson, Washington. They are the highest mountains on the east coast, at the top of the Appalachian Trail. Between Adams and Jefferson is a knife edge about 2-3 feet wide, straight down each side. We didn't have comfy balanced packs like people today, just old army canvas bags. omg. It took 2 days to get to the top. Unbelievable. No phones, no cameras, just memories. We went straight over to Lake Champlain and canoed the length, camping, nine days. Wooden double slatted canoes. And we were 16-yo-girls!!

Jeju is a volcano island. Hallasan Mountain is the tallest in South Korea at 1,947 meters. what you see at 23 is a crater at the top known as Baengnokdam Lake. the Lake at the summit has relatively low water levels due to its volcanic rocks of the island. :)

1:05 from what I've observed in their previous shows, Jin is a light sleeper. Him & Suga prepares the earliest bc in their dorm during debut they only had 1 bathroom. So I think they only got used to it being the early ones to wake up & prepare so as not to cram? & in Beyond The Star docu his childhood friend had mentioned that even tho Jin is already famous & busy, he was always on time when they have a gathering.

I enjoyed watching Jin, as a beginner hiking Hallasan is hard but He is really amazing finished it in shorter time...he so sweet and cool, no boring moments in him.. looking forward to the next episode of Run Jin..Fighting! ❤🎉

Jin' will guest star on another variety show airing on You Tube! August 19th, 9pm (KST) MBC's variety show " HALF STAR HOTEL LOST ISLAND". It's so fun! Jin will showcase his usual comedic antics on a deserted island in S Korea with a handful of other guests. It's like a fun semi survival adventure show where he and his fellow companions go diving, catch fish, cook on the island with limited resources etc. to accommodate other guests who visit the island.Jin is a wonderful natural entertainer. He is always so fun and endearing to watch. He's amazing.

I’m finally back to rewatch this with you! Yes, someone corrected me and it was Mulwhe he loves. I recall when Jimin was visiting him a lot and Jimin kept saying all Jin kept asking for was Mulwhe. 😂 I bet that Manuka Honey stick is going to sell out now if the brand was seen! I felt so proud seeing Jin do such an amazing job even if he aid he crawled for a bit. I too, when I was healthier and younger hiked up a mountain. I forgot my drink though and the person I went with was an athlete so wanted to jog up. After the first summit, I said no way! Go ahead without me and I’ll walk. Much less steep than what Jin did! I think the next episode, he visits his old school. What an awesome camera too… very cool that the mic interacts with it. I can’t wait for the next episode and pray that they go back to doing Run BTS upon all of their return. I hope Jin rests some too! Borahae! 💜💜💜🇨🇦
