This song should have been huge in the states. Should have been huge everywhere. Got the Neil Young "sound" down pretty well. Used to great effect, without being a copycat. Would love to find a McNabb and Crazy Horse live record.

There is one. If you buy the special double CD edition of Merseybeast there is a 6 track live CD of Ian with Crazy Horse doing 4 Icicle Works songs plus "Pushing too hard" by The Seeds and "I don't want to talk about it". When the company were deleting the CD Ian tried to buy the stock from them for selling via his website, but the company preferred to trash them all and refused his money - a decision as stupid as it was tragic. Nowadays used copies are £14 and up on Amazon, but it really is very, very good, and definitely worth it. Sometimes Ian has copies of the DVD of this whole concert for sale at his shows.

i forgot to mention that there is the definitive version of "Great dreams of Heaven" live with Crazy Horse on Ian's outtakes album "Waifs & Strays" (still available on his website, I think). There are several other great, must have songs on that CD.
