What you need for those starter bolts is a product they use in the oilfield ... Crouse Hinds STL 8. It doesn't interfere with continuity and it keeps the threads from seizing. I used it for years offshore.

Cordless drill with a socket on the flywheel nut turns the motor over easily with the plugs out.....easier than a rope.....also lets you wiggle connections while it's turning over.

Silver (and copper) anti-seize is conductive. It will certainly ground your starter bolts. ;)

Brandon I have had 2, 15 hp johnson and evenrude carb cleaning issues trying to get the low speed journals clean. The motor will starve for fuel and die untill i bump the choke . have you ever drilled out the factory core plugs to do a deep clean? If so what did you use to reseal the ends , something like devcon epoxy. by the way i have already tryed carb cleaner, pooking wire up as far as i can from the bowl side of the low speed journals also drilled out the aluminum plugs both small and large soked carb over night and blew out with compressed air.

Brandon I enjoy your videos and would like to ask a question concerning the shift dent and linkage you are installing at 9:45 of this video. How do you adjust this? You don't need to on your motor. Also, does this affect the actual shift linkage as it relates to the gear box and it's shifting?

Bro, as long as length is correct, I can use any spark plug wires for my 15 hp 1977 Evinrude 15704m? Is copper preferred? I have electric start by the way, and on my motor have a wire with a boot connector at each end. Thanks and subbed, and using your amazon links. You rock Also, is there an emergency pull cord system? Like a rope with a handle? If there is I don’t have

How in the whole do you get the exhaust part off the lower engine. It's driving me nuts it won't come off even after the six bolts are removed.

did you tap it with a mallet?

Killer switch is not conected. It produces no spark.

Kill switch is disconnected being the key element there.
