Glory, glory hallelujah! I walked her decks as a young lad of 15 years in the 1970s and smelled the tar oozing out of her joints in the summer sun. I mentioned it before, but I found it amazing how the surgeon's deck was painted red with sand mixed in the paint to disguise the blood with the paint and keep men from slipping on the blood with the sand. HUGE ship! So many cannons! I saw the place where Nelson was injured and below deck there was a life-size diorama of the death of Nelson, if I remember correctly, with mannequins. She took 6 years to build and was launched in 1765. The famous Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson assumed command in 1803 and died in the battle of Trafalgar in 1805 against the forces of Napoleon on this very ship after a long and distinguished naval career. His statue is atop the column to this day in London's Trafalgar Square.

Really looking forward to this build, I'll pull up a chair and watch every video .The Victory is my favourite ship and I'm sure yours will be magnificent. I have the Cladercraft Victory which takes about 5000 copper plates, I'd imagine yours will use about the same. Very time consuming but worth it.

Hi Greg!!! I will begin the building in around 2 weeks. The 1st video will be making public around the end of February and i can insure that she will be magnificent! No other Victory will have all that parts together, 5 life boats , sails, copper hull and led lights! And this one is also very detailed!!!

I can see how eager you are to begin building Victory. The airbrush is a wise purchase. I'd like to see you use it on video. Although I look forward to each new model ship build that you do I know this one is going to be special. 👍

This one is going to be a project to try and top or at least match the Santa Ana. It will be a difficult one but i think i will make it happen! You will enjoy it, i can insure you about that :)

This will be a fun biuld John, looking forwards to the videos that will follow. Play with that airbrush until you fell comfortable with it and all the things that go with it. You will love it even can do the varnish for you if you thin it out. This will be a fun one my friend.

Super excited John. I own the compressor you bought. You have made an excellent decision as I have never had a problem with it.
