Hi John, have you experienced pairing issues with Bluetooth via Moco app? I'm on Android and the modules doesn't even appear on the devices list. If I try pairing them via Bluetooth phone settings it fails..
@johntisbury6 жыл бұрын
Hi it’s not a problem I’ve encountered although I’m on Apple iOS so not really a direct comparison in terms of user experience. Have you looked at the support forums on iFootage?

John Tisbury Yes, it actually went quite well. I was primarily focused on capturing the Milky Way as a time lapse but did mange to get some shots of clouds over a river. Thank you again for putting this video together.

My pleasure. Your projects sound great. I was planning to do the Milk Way last weekend as a time-lapse, however, personal family commitments pulled rank so its still on my to-do list.

Hey John, my shark slider arrived several weeks ago. I have been using the Target Control for video purposes. Great tool. I'm excited to shoot time-lapse with it. I'm ordering the correct trigger control cable. The cables that came with the slider do not appear to work with my camera (Canon 7D Mark ii)...it doesn't fit. Watching your video a 2nd time, with slider app in hand, was much easier to comprehend. Great instructional video. Thank you. Here's a video using the slider--Target Control: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3OuiYJvoZllorM

Hello! l noticed 13:06~13:20 there are so many bump on live recording video. it means filmmakers can't use it properly. is it happenning all the time?
@johntisbury5 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for the question. The setup I was demonstrating, and the resulting settings I had chosen in the Moco app were for time-lapse with stills, not for video. The preview segment you refer to was to show the camera movements through the time-lapse that I'd just programmed in, rather than a demonstration on video sequence for filming. As you say there are bumps on it, that's because it was in time-lapse mode for photographs, so Shoot Move Shoot rather than continuous movement. Within the app you would set the Shooting Mode to Continuous within Settings, and in the Timeline Control you would choose the Video option from the drop-down menu rather than the Time-lapse setting I used. However, I can understand how that video segment I showed led to confusion and your resulting question. If it helps I have covered how to set the Moco app up for video use using the Timeline Control option: kzbin.info/www/bejne/goGuZqaAp92Nq8k&lc=UgxxtenEddANDH13jNN4AaABAg

@@LEEGENDSTUDIOS Glad to hear my comments were useful to you and I hope you enjoy using the product. On the 25th Feb I have a new video being launched on my channel that you may be interested in: *iFootage Target Control setting A to B points the Moco app* The A to B points, or Target Control at the Moco app labels it, is great for interviews and still life video shoots as the camera can track backwards and forwards and repeat whilst you video. I show you how to setup that up. That will cover your request to upload the full length version with pan and tilt. Let me know how you get on with your new equipment when you get it.

hi john great vid and thanks for sharing. one question i was wondering if you could answer. i notice small micro jetters in a lot of youtube videos show casing the ifootage mini shark. do you have any suggestions on the matter of how to element the phenomenon? thanks and have a fine day
@johntisbury6 жыл бұрын
Thank you, glad you found the information useful. I bought the mini shark primarily for time-lapse photography, so the video jitter is not really an issue for me, e.g. it only seems to appear when using the slider for camera movement when using video. I've re-watched the footage for this post and totally agree with you it's not great in terms of smoothness. Mine has the latest firmware too as I updated just before shooting this. If you have a look at Gugr Vamsi's post above he has the same issue and has raised a support ticket with iFootage around the very same issue.

Anyone know what the Bluetooth Pairing code is? It's not letting me connect through android because I have no code.
@johntisbury5 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, I have no experience with the Android version of the MOCO software, so I'm sorry I'm unable to help. Having a look at the reviews, it does appear to be a bug ridden piece of software. The reviews are not good. You could email iFootage support direct on cs@ifootagegear.com to get your question answered about bluetooth pairing code.

Hi, really good informative tutorial! Any idea if this can do a “time warp” effect like the Edelkrone (or could it be implemented in a firmware update?).
@johntisbury5 жыл бұрын
Hi Rolando thank you! No it won't do the 'time warp' effect. You can change the speed that the camera tracks, e.g. speed it up or slow it down along its path on the track. Or it's pan or tilt speed, but it's not quite the same affect as the motion warper or time warper feature.

@johntisbury5 жыл бұрын
You cannot auto start the app in that way. Plug the cable into the X2 mini and the camera, turn the camera on, turn on the x2 and slider. Then setup up your chosen path in the app and press play. That should then work.
