I just saw a pair of these at a pawn shop for $9. I didn’t even know that they were Bluetooth! I just needed something to use while running table saw, tile saw and grinders. They work just fine. I checked my receipt and found that the employee actually charged me $5! I may go back and grab the other set tomorrow!

I build new houses and I been using it for a year especially in winter time and I like it, keep my ears warm..... the downside is ... sometimes accidentally I touch the bottoms with the material I'm carrying on my shoulder, Or when I walking through the walls or in the attic. Changing the radio station or lowering the volume or that is worse is increasing the volume all the way up. It should have a lock 🔐 bottom or something like it to prevent that from happening.

Awesome level of detail, thank you! Maybe not your use case, but two questions (to you or your readers): 1. How is the quality of the microphone during Bluetooth calls (most likely the person on the other end would need to comment) ? 2. Have you (or others) tried the ‘line in’ in jack with a third-party cord (sold separately) that handles both audio and microphone ? This essentially turns them into a wired headset for making calls (not while mowing the lawn but, say, inside a noisy coffee shop with a lot of background chatter noise which may otherwise come in through a Bluetooth mic). Having a wired connection usually provides that added level of isolation and quality for the microphone (which the person on the other end hears). Cheers.

How do you go from regular digital am mode back to the regular am mode? I made the mistake of pressing the function button while listening to an am station. Ive had this problem with other work tune headsets. This problem and the volume problrm are my main 2 issues. Thanks doug

They look like the model I have. Idiots who designed it have made the AM bandwidth so stupidly narrow that it causes AM audio to be so muffled that it's unbearable to listen to. Please tell me that it has a setting to correct this problem.

Now that it is September 2020, what is your review of them? Also, set the volume with everything off then turn on your equipment. Don't use music to drown out the mower or saw noise, you are only hurting your ears and your hearing. Have it loud enough to hear when it is quiet or just mow and live without the sound but your hearing is too important to lose.
@JohnVHLife4 жыл бұрын
I use them weekly, Im probably guilty of having the music a little too loud, Ill admit that, but they are my GOTOs when Im doing anything in the yard!

@@JohnVHRC Thank you. Basic phone call function is something I sure want in hearing protection -- so I'm not tempted, when anticipating an important call, to remove it when I should be wearing it.
@leonardallen87544 жыл бұрын
Don't know about text messaging but the phone function works good. Incoming call the music stops, you hear your ring tone, push the larger center button, your connected, only problem is you have to talk pretty loud because the mike isn't that good. If it's an important call, I just turn off the head phone, the cell phone goes to dealt and I talk over the phone, other wise when the call is over, I just push that center button and I'm back to my music

I tend to agree, its not as loud as it could be! Ive been happy with mine, loud enough on the lawnmower and running a chainsaw. So Im still happy.

Thanks for the comments, John and William. The volume is the #1 complaint on Amazon reviews. I own the 3M am fm non-Bluetooth worktunes model, the yellow ones, and there is no volume limitation, it gets loud. I guess I’ll stay with that as low volume during loud tasks may well be a deal killer for me. One buyer on Amazon commented that they called 3M to complain of the volume limiter and was told that the company is going to remove the volume limiter feature from future models, but seems that hasn’t happened yet. Thanks again.
