Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. There are so many great tips. I've done 3 farmers markets. The first 2 were great and had a lot of fun. The last market I sold one mug😢. Really got me feeling bummed. So I haven’t participated in any since then. Ready to try again. I have been working daily making mugs mugs mugs. Tried sqrafitto on my first mug yesterday!!! I've been watching your channel weekly. ❤️ 😍 💖 your work. You've been very helpful... you have gotten me inspired again. Thank you for sharing, with us.😊😊😊

Lisa. You are a great sharer. I am fairly new at craft fairs, your tips really inspired me. I have always been a little scared of using instagram, but I am now going to give it a go. I might even have a go on KZbin. Thanks so much. 😊 Jeanette

I prefer to do Sellout markets. I usually show up with 180 pieces of handmade jewelry and if I get down to 50 I consider that sold out. I try to pre sell ahead and after the event.

Yes! That is a great idea. A market is an opportunity to sell before during and after!

I think you are doing awesome on social media! How did your market go?
@Ellen.s.atelier11 күн бұрын
@@finklepottery704 thank you Lisa! The market was very slow with people! Considering that I sold 20 pieces, so I was very happy with that! And many compliments about the uniqueness of my pieces. One cup is going to the USA! How wonderful is that!💝

This is awesome! Such great advice!! I had shows that I went to and didn’t sell a single thing and it really did a number on me. So figuring out the type of shows that would be good for me to sell pottery at was a big thing for me!! I was going to any and every show I could find. Being picky and knowing your market is key!!

Good to hear Nat! I’m intrigued. What is a coastie bogan?
@mudmagic40718 күн бұрын
@@finklepottery704I live on the central coast which is north of Sydney and a cheaper region so we use the term “coastie bogans” a bogan is someone who would wear ugg boots tracksuits beanies out and about kind of thing. Hard to explain lol

Thank you Lisa, I’ll be venturing back to markets this year and your tips do help. Now if only I knew how many pots (and jewelry) to take with me to a major Christmas market. Any tips there?
@finklepottery70412 күн бұрын
Hi Joanne. In my market I sell a lot of mugs ! I usually aim for 100 mugs at my big Christmas market. Then I build my stock around that. Little things, big things etc 😊
