I have both the German (turbine) Blu-ray and the new US 4k disc. The German Blu-ray includes dual atmos and Auro-3d tracks. I found the Auro-3d track to be more impressive than the atmos track on the German Blu-ray. However the US disc includes a brand new atmos track which was personally supervised and approved by the director. I don’t understand how Bill Hunt was alluding to them being the same. Overall I prefer the more balanced approach which is quite evident on the new atmos track, included in the US 4k release.
