Just got 86 on the National SIFT. Your SJT was pretty much spot on. I would say yours were ever so slightly harder and with more background information to take in. On the other hand, the BSQ format was a bit different and I feel your students who have just purchased the BSQ and SJT questions would benefit from knowing this.

How? I got 16 but I stupidly followed the advice of being honest

@@solomonollason53 you have to practice and be in the right mindset of how in an ideal world you would react. How2become have decent resources as well for extra practice. I found their stuff was slightly better

@@alexbrooks5838 you get a practice question beforehand and then you have the options completely, strongly, somewhat agree etc. But… over the 3,4,5 questions for each of the many sections, you will naturally select one of the answers more than once, and it will at the end of the section take you back to the questions where you had the same answer and get you to rank which answer did you agree with more

I have spent studying police courses for 6 years and working as a volunteer with the police for 3 years. Finally decided to apply and received a total of 5 out of 100. Can someone explain what I did wrong because the police did not provide any feedback? My self-worth went down when they told me I am not near fit for the role?! Looked at your video providing ur opinion answers, and I'm even more confused about what I did wrong.

I got 18, honestly, I don't see how I failed sinced I gave all the answers in the most logical manner. I find this test very rubbish since I got a first class uni degree in policing and they cannot assess my personality and competency based on agree and disagree answers. Plus it is based on what the majority picked as the answers, not what the actual right response would be, making this test more rubbish

@@relapse1560 You've pretty much said the problem with uni/real world. Sure, don't get me wrong, people whom have a degree or more are academically smart, however that means nothing when it's personality and reactiveness for certain jobs e.g. this. I agree with you however, the test is quite biased and unfair.

@@relapse1560 you hit it right on the head there mate thats a similar score to what I got and I thought I answerd it quite well but I found out after I did ti that the test is marked automatically by their system and it marks you against the average of what other people said. So for example lets say you are a genius and you choose the best option, since most people are not geniuses they would choose a different option making your answer wrong. That's how a lot of people got terrible scores, try to answer based on what other people would say not what you personally think. I know it sounds like something that kind of goes against the whole be your own person and be unique narrative of the police but that is entirely how it works :D

What is the worse, I had a meeting with a police officer, which gave me tips and literally answers, and I still failed, again!

I've tried doing a community officer role, as my way to start on the job to be a effective policeman, when I got to the behavioural and situational test, I follow what it tolled me and did my best, base on my years of understanding to reason, vulture and stoicism, and I only got 10...This of course was very disheartening and it left me in the dark, on what I did wrong? So I am currently trying to apply on a volunteer role for the police, if I fail even that?.....I may not be so sound for a while, as I'll have to wait for try again. so in simple truth I'm nervous, if I do fail again, like many of my disappointments, I simply look for a job elsewhere, workout and maybe try again with more information. Lastly Bluelight, if you say is true, that this text was made by people who even even been in a police station, then I got a dread thought of what kind of individuals will play in most operations and job roles be. I will do my best to be optimistic, even if I don't pass, i will try a different strategy next time.
