It wasn't on the video but i hope you got over to radio beach on the west side of Alice town. Really cool strip and beautiful beach but you have to take a side street through the local homes to get there.

Just went to Radio Beach in July. The beach is located in the middle of run down shacks and litter everywhere. We seen old appliances , abandoned rusty cars and 55 gallon barrels of trash everywhere. Definitely not what we imagined after viewing KZbin videos. Basically the island is a 3rd world country. All the golf carts were a minimum of $100 / day which is more than any rental car in the USA. Hopefully the locals take more pride in their island and clean it up if they want ships to continue to port there! I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Yes, the golf carts can get very expensive, especially when there are cruise ships in port as well! The island itself is definitely more third World country once you go further from the hotel areas. Thank you for the comment, hopefully if you go again, it’s a better time for you! ☺️

Nobody shows how to get to the ferry. That takes you to the other island.

@@steveturner1644 get on the lower road. Go all the way down the island. Watch on your left, the east side, near the far southern end. If you get all the way to the turn around you went too far. Ask anyone on the road. About a 5 minute ride to South Bimini. If you want, walk all the way down to the Sunshine Inn bar at the southern end. Note the nature trail on the right as you go. Very different on S Bimini… peaceful 😇

We did not make a reservation. We just walked up and it was very quick and easy for us even with a cruise ship in port

From the bottom of the island to the top I would say it takes roughly 20/25 mins

Great little taste of Bimini! We absolutely love North & South Bimini. Never took the ferry boat over, but looks like a nice boat ride. We cross over on PWC’s from Key Biscayne and stay for a week or so. Can’t wait to get back to Bimini. Looked like you guys had a great time and ate some amazing food. Thanks again for sharing.
