Would love to get a set of Dpa 4560s. Makes it a lot less obvious walking around cities and they sound great with the F3. Do they come with the adapter to go from microdot to xlr? Edit. Nevermind I found the answer in another one of your videos. Thanks

So cool to hear the walk through, very clever to do that, love your videos as always and of course it sounded so great!-- F3 and DPA's are a great combo!!!! what fun it would be to ride that train!!!!!!! So... you realize you were walking and the train was going 200+ MPH!!!!!! crazzzy!

Amazing train. That's what the DPA4560 have been invented for 😂 I get a bit jealous when i compare the shinkansen with the german ICE. Thank you as always for another great video. Viele Grüße - Til.

Thank you for watching Til! Very different experience indeed. But we might come back to Europe and get the 3 month InterRail and EuroRail tickets. That is an amazing way to see and travel across Europe.

So cool, we would love to visit Japan! What setup do you think they use to make those binaural walking videos? Never hear wind or anything when they are walking in the rain.
@FreeToUseSounds Жыл бұрын
Hi Justin, Do you mean with "them" us or other channels? Many walking video channels don't use binaural microphones because of the wind issue, cable noise etc. We made a video about the gear we're using right now. Zoom F3, DPA 4560 but I don't use it in windy conditions.
@Pict8kr17 Жыл бұрын
@@FreeToUseSounds cool I maybe missed that video, I usually catch most of your content. Those binaural may be too expensive for me. I have seen videos I like but they often don’t list their equipment. Any suggestions for hobbyist budget? Love to do some video/audio walks
@FreeToUseSounds Жыл бұрын
Oh yes. I think you should look into the “Sounds Professional” binaural microphones. People enjoy them and they definitely have a better fit than the Roland.

Wow, I'm feeling a bit sea sick after watching that !! Ha ha. I forgive you. Especially today because I just went and grabbed an F3 this afternoon. That's my weekend play toy with my Usi mics. So happy I found a shop that had some in stock but had to travel across town to get it. They're still quite hard to find and so many shops with unknown delivery dates, but I have one now so me happy ;o))))) Very happy.
@FreeToUseSounds Жыл бұрын
Ha Ha Ha :). That's great news! Now all you need is a nice AB configuration and you're all set :) Have fun with the F3.
@cryptotrader2779 Жыл бұрын
@@FreeToUseSounds Will do., but it's great for now. I only want the Bluetooth dongle and I'm done. That way I can stealth record with the F3 in my backpack. I also got an Arturia Minilab 3 control keyboard when I was there, so I'm all set for a really fun weekend of playing with sounds.
@FreeToUseSounds Жыл бұрын
Sound Design fun can begin :) If you use something like Arturia's Pigments with your sound recordings, you can create something amazing.

Hi. How about sound traveling Japan? The sound of Schoeps dms is really great. I want to ask you for advice about windshield. Rycote and cinela. What do you recommend between rycote and cinela. Please give me a advice. Thank q
@FreeToUseSounds Жыл бұрын
Hi! They are both great when it comes to wind protection. What microphones would you like to use?
@byungsin-a-haha Жыл бұрын
@@FreeToUseSounds I would buy DMS set for ambience sound. I already had pair of schoeps mk4 but it is uncomfortable for outdoor recording. Some sound engineers said rycote windshield made noise when they were walking with rycote. Do you think so?
@FreeToUseSounds Жыл бұрын
Great choice. I don't walk with this kit and record at the same time. I have it always set on the Nanopole. I like the Cyclone but you still would need extra wind protection. The Cyclone alone won't give enough protection in high wind. The Cinela I have is great for sure and I believe for the DMS kit it's just as good. You're looking at the Schoeps CCM DMS kit right? The complete kit comes with cables and wind covers. If I had to decide right now, I would choose this one over the Rycote.

@@byungsin-a-haha One thing that starts to loosen is the magnet plastic part that holds both side together. It's easy to put it back in place but you need to open up everything to do that. That is the only thing that comes to my mind but nothing that creates noise.
@byungsin-a-haha Жыл бұрын
@@FreeToUseSounds Thank you so much. I don't get much information about schoeps dms and wind protection in korea. I appreciate you to make my decision. I'm going to pay on Monday without my wife knowing.
