I’m a deputy at a county jail... at a State Penn before that. The stories most CO’s have would blow your mind. We’re not supposed to tell ppl about what happened. It’s not a bad idea tho. Something I might do when I retire. However the last thing most COs ever want to do is become popular while on the job because anybody who thinks we wronged them right or wrong may try to do something to ourselves or our family.

This dude really needs to be recognized for what he is trying to do. I am 17 I had sold drugs on occasions, stolen from grocery stores just to eat, I have had some fights here and there. I then started to realize I had talent in art and sports. I sold artwork I did to strangers for only $5-10 and often would convince them for at least $15 or under. started going back to school I am now in college doing art and expanding on options I made for myself. Life only gets hard if you let it be. Make decisions that only benefit you in long and short term. But yeah I respect this man a lot for what message he is trying get across but good luck though mate.

It cant hurt! Take logging or welding or construction work or plumbing. Those are good honest trades that you can learn and make GOOD money on. There are welders who work for 3 months out of the year and take the rest off! (its brutal 16h days for 6 days a week but its a hell of a lot easier than selling drugs!

This is one 0f the best videos. This needed to be said. Myself and my bros will reminisce and the kids here it and it sounds almost kool to them and like it ain't shit. It is when that cell locks at night and your with your own thoughts of what you've lost and where you would rather be the pain sets in. We dont talk about that. You did right on making this one. On another note. I love what your doing helping out other guys getting out. Keep it up man.

I was actually part of the AB when I was younger. One day a recruiter came to my school and talked me into coming and looking my options in the military. I wound up joining when I was 17 years old. It seemed like every week someone would call and say who got killed or who got caught while I was in the military. One day the call came that my best friend had been busted for murder and stealing a car. He was eventually convicted and sentenced. I still wonder what would have happened to me If I hadn't left that lifestyle.

I wanna stop watching the video for a second to thank you for doing what you did in the first minute. I’m an ex gang member who’s almost lost his life plenty of times because of gang bullshit. Now, I’m reformed and a law abiding citizen, and luckily I never hurt anyone or got in any serious trouble with the law. But the reason I want to thank you is because I realize that you’re making a careee out of your life experiences and I respect you so much for capitalizing on something like this when felons are so handicapped in the job world. I know how hard it is for some ex cons to get work, so they fall back into the system. I’ve got a lot of respect for you Joe. Thank you for raising awareness. Gangs have not a single good thing about them. It’s all misery betrayal and abuse. No matter what situation you run into kids, boys, men, NEVER join a gang. Almost ruined my life, and absolutely destroyed my childhood. Thank you Joe. Thank God, I had the chance to recreate myself and repent.

I got lucky af! Freshmen year I was dealing dope in school and someone snitched on me. I had 5 gs on me and they nailed me with attempting to distribute and I got suspended for 3 weeks and had court and instead of giving me 2 years in juvenile detention he gave me 2 years probation. And I’m glad it happned at a young age I was headed down a horrible path

@AfterPrisonShow8 жыл бұрын
COREcasual i respect that. but cliche has no life here. any other youtube fanbase i feel really doesn't have the bond we have here. so saying army represents our strength together here. and family represents the bond. just my opinion. lol

i literally discovered your videos today. i dig what you do, as a parent i know what your saying is true, and it makes me sad that alot of kids dont have anyone that gives a shit enough about them to show em the way shit really is and really can be and really happen to them if they dont get their shit together. i think what you do and say is very commendable and if nobody else tells you this thank you for trying to show. people " especially the kids" what can happen. man i been there did the drugs sold the drugs did more drugs sold more drugs to get more drugs and all the dumb shit that comes with it. little bit of jail time nothing drastic but enough to not want to go back. so once again thank you for doing what you do, plus some of the shit you say is funny cuz i understand what your saying and ive seen sone of the dumb shit myself and have done some of the dumb shit also. be good brother.

Other than "NOT GOING TO PRISON IN THE FIRST PLACE", you always hear that you are gonna have to click up in prison, usually by race. The lonewolf route is said to be a no-no. So whats a dude to do? Risk lonewolf status or, click up and then have to do "dummy missions"? Seems like a lose lose.
@beatz046 жыл бұрын
IKR. That's a question i yet have to see explained properly. Some people say you HAVE to join a gang in order to survive, then again others (and logic) will tell you that's where the real problems gonna start. So i guess the question boils down to - how to survive prison if you don't want to join a gang ?
@eternal602146 жыл бұрын
Being in a gang and being associated with that gang are 2 different things
@upnorthtalk33316 жыл бұрын
I'm here to tell you that you do not need to join a gang. Prison isn't what people make it out to be. Listen most of what you here is bullshit just stay to yourself and be a stand up individual and I assure you you'll be alright. Of course if you seem weak mofos will prey on you. But trust me if u are a stand up dude nobody will try you. Spoken words from experience.... And u can take that to the bank

@susannegriffin30887 жыл бұрын
if i can not save my child, i do not want to live. he is my world. i love my son, more than life its self. and he got himself back at juv detention, again, for stealing my car, and being with gang members, who have fooled him into think they are his friend. he does not understand that he is playing with fire. on the verge if throwing his life away. does he know how bad he id hurting me? he is his own worst enemy. he is only 15. please, any direction you can give?

Swear man I’ve commented this before but I have to again. You are a prime example of turning your life around after prison. You see a lot of people who get out and get back in but not you ur out here entertaining & informing people about your life experiences. it truly shows people change for the absolute better in life. keep doing what you are doing. Much love from Columbus Ohio. 🤙🏾
