Oh yeah, another drawback about indoor ranges, is that they are MUCH LOUDER, due to the confined spaces. Be sure to have adequate ear protection. Electronic is best so that you can remain vigilant. In some indoor ranges, ear plugs plus ear muffs are best.

Been a member of indoor range for 2+ years now I go every week with my EDC S&W Shield 9mm & nice thing about is it a S&W certified range 4 Rules are posted every where & they have on staff some great pros. I find wearing ear muffs + ear plugs greatly reduce noise & fog free eye wear is a must. I enjoy this so much that I become a FFL & CA dealer & my interview with dreaded ATF :) went very well the agent was very helpful

I like Shooter's Peoria and Phoenix, but I train at the Ben Avery. I actually live closest to Phoenix Gun and Rod, though. I'd get a membership if I wasn't all over the place!

I have mobility problems and go to an indoor range. All you have to do is sweep the empty cases forward. I have yet to go to an outdoor range for plinking as I would have difficulty picking up the spent cases and my wife doesn’t want to do it. Been I gun owner not quite a year.
