Richard Wright, truly a brilliant author. Underated. Native Son by Richard Wright for me was a turning point to my thinking. He is and will always be my favorite author. This scrip brought tears to my eyes, wonderfully executed.

I love thissss Word for word You've made me understood the text beyond it's physical setting but conversations holding dominant surviving instincts barely by words to keep sanity, to understand life and to feel humane

Thank you. I had read "Native Son" and "Uncle Tom's Children", both so powerful that they made lasting impressions on me, as has this video. But I only recently learned that Richard Wright wrote thousands of haiku as well. I purchased " Haiku: The Last Poems of an American Icon", a collection of 817 of his haiku. If you cherish poetry, this book is well worth reading.

I have taught this novel in my U.S. history classes for several years now and I think I will use this adaptation in class.
