I just had a weird niche thought about darklings. Okay, picture this: Centennial Puzzle not triggered, back two darklings on low health, front darkling hits for enough to trigger centennial puzzle- you draw a wound, you’ve got fire breathing, the back darklings die. What do they DO in that moment? They were planning to attack/block- is that forgone? Just a weird specific darklings related interaction I don’t think I’ve seen before.

Doesn’t matter what they intend to do if they’re dead. Think about enemies dying to poison… they just die on their turn.
