Pasensya dahil na rin sa haba ng topic and the fact na I was really busy this past few days, and yet i really have to upload this for my students, yung presentation and audio might really not be good.

Hi po! Ask ko lang po regarding Article 1218. Suppose Pogi and Ganda is indebted to Beauty and the amount has prescribed. This means that whatever payment done by one debtor cannot ask reimbursement from the other debtor as well as recover the payment from the creditor. If Pogi and Ganda decided not to pay as the debt has prescribed, will the obligation extinguish as well? What are the possible rights of Beauty?

The obligation is extinguished. In fact, prescription is really one of the mode of extinguishment of obligation under Article 1231.

Hello John. Partial defense lang kasi, you will still pay naman yung share mo sa obligation, edededuct lang yung share ng other debtors.

Hi. yeah! nag short-cut ata ako ng discussion. supposedly, i want to discuss ng solidary sa side ni creditors, and later joint naman sa side ng creditors. seems like na cut ko unintentionally yung voice lecture ko. the lecture jump into another scenario na joint debtors joint creditors nah.

Hello po what if po kapag ganito ang situation A, B, and C are solidarily liable to pay the amount of P3Million to BPI Bank, subject to the following terms and conditions: - A shall pay in monthly installment of P3,000.00 starting January 1, 2021 - B shall pay her total obligation on February 1, 2021 - C shall pay his obligation if Leni Robredo becomes president in the next elections. Assume that nobody has paid any outstanding obligation. a. Today (March 20), BPI bank sent a demand for payment. How much may the bank ask for and who may be liable to pay? b. If B becomes insolvent today, what is the effect to the obligation? c. If the bank remits/cancels the debt of B, how much may the bank demand from A today (March 20), assuming no payment was made yet.
