I have to say this, bro. If you're planning to skate, go for it, because it conquers my social anxiety, I get anxious from time to time, but it lessens now. I also stutter since I was in elementary and highschool and now it doesn't show. anw, have a great one!

skating definitely helps reduce social anxiety. at first it will be out of your comfort zone because all the best places to skate are in public but it forces you to try things in front of people and take the risk of making a mistake and "looking silly." this goes away with time and practice, the more mistakes you make the less afraid you are to make them:) if skating is something you want to do then I say go for it! it will improve your life in more ways than one:)

Skating really helped me with social anxiety because I was scared at first and I didn't know how to even go down the half pip but complete strangers taught me how to do it and even when I fell they still helped me out and didn't laugh, and when I was out of my comfort zone I was less afraid to try doing more tricks and even though I was bad at doing them I kept practicing and doing better and eventually I was able to do some awesome tricks that rarely any of the other skaters could do and it boosted my confidence, also I made some friends just by skating when, at the time, I didn't have any other friends
