It's worth mentioning that Prosciutto actually IS in Eyes of Heaven, he's just not a playable character (he shows up as a stage hazard at the train station). So it's very possible that all the characters could still be from EoH.

Weather Report, Speedwagon and a bunch of others had models in the og ASB yet were never added even in the DLC that later, until in EOH which was a new game. Then there's also the very important Part 8 characters including the villain that have to come which have no models yet.

Not to mention 4 of the 5 new stages in this game are all taken from Eyes of Heaven, so they are re-using EoH assets for ASBR, stands to reason they're doing the same for characters, especially when Trish's render is literally her EoH render. We also see one totally new stage, and of course EoH movesets are far more limited than ASB movesets, so it's not like no new content is being produced, but having some work already done definitely seems to be increasing the chances of certain content.

I really hope a ‘new’ Pucci isn’t one of the characters we’re getting. We were teased 10 new characters. For a character who was ALREADY in the original game as a completed character to be moved to a new slot and sold as a ‘new character’ would come across as extremely disingenuous and misleading to people who aren’t paying attention. Of course, I wouldn’t put it past them to do this, but I’m really hoping that’s not the case. If they want to split Pucci into two characters, that’s fine, but he shouldn’t be treated like a new addition. He should’ve been advertised on the roster alongside the other Pucci in the first trailer.

I'm so happy that Tooru made it in the list, he's one of my top picks but I'm also sad that Rai Mamezuku from part 8 didn't. I would sacrifice Joshu if it meant that Rai makes it in the game, mainly since I'm 100% that any votes Joshu got were because he's in Eyes Of Heaven instead of people actually liking him and Rai's just really cool.

For the people who think Pucci is gonna be split into two characters, It obvious that they're not doing that but instead, they're hiding Pucci's transformations due to spoiler reasons (Since the part 6 Anime isn't even gonna to be finished or up to the Pucci Fights when The game releases). I also doubt they'll split Pucci into two since he was already fully functional in the original game as one. You can also explain the differences with Pucci's Render by saying the developers also didn't want to spoiler the hairstyle change Pucci went through during his transformation (Which ASB Render only used the Final Hairstyle while EOH has both).

This is kind of a "never gonna happen" pick but I would love to see one of the D'Arby brothers get in the roster. I feel Part 3 has enough characters already though, I'm just really biased for them. Other than that, I'd also love to see Speedwagon and Stroheim. I will say that I am surprised Foo Fighters wasn't already in the game. I'm an anime only watcher but she became part of the main cast after her appearance, I think putting her in makes plenty of sense.

Honestly I really really want to see Ghiacco in all star battle, White Album is a very unique fighter being a suit stand user and being able to control the temperature around himself to freezing degrees and not to mention Gently Weeps being able to slow down others but also reflect any projectile shot at ghiacco, not only that but it is very durable and enhances Ghiacco’s strength and speed. It also can control ice which can be used for basically anything since it’s ice. Ghiacco’s White Album also can skate (I still find that odd) which man lean into mobility! I still think La Squadra should get more love in these games since they are very strong stand users (Risotto and Pesci for example.)

Odd you didn't mention that part of the reason why Risotto was voted for is probably because of his status as a playable character in Last Survivor, a JoJo battle royale game that also reuses the ASB/EoH models. So he already has a playable, movable, emoting 3D model WITHIN the games' art style and a basis for potential fighting game abilities. This also makes Risotto the ONLY character from that game that wasn't already playable in ASB or EoH. This video is gonna age beautifully if Risotto ends up being a shoe-in because of his being in Last Survivor and then a character like Stroheim or Foo doesn't. Nice vetoing.

I just can’t see him getting in because All-Star Battle just isn’t that violent of a game (there’s not even visible red blood) and to do Risotto’s stand ability justice you’d have to be very violent. Otherwise it would just look lame. All-Star Battle just isn’t likely to go that extra mile, in fact it tends to pull away from or heavily downplay violence/mutilation when trying to recreate scenes from the manga (eg. Diavolo’s ultimate finishes off-screen). So an ability almost entirely based on mutilation would look underwhelming.

There's an alternate universe where Fugo never got announced for ASB and there would be a similar stance on 'not seeing him getting in' because Purple Haze's Virus ought to "visibly melt the opponent" or something. Censored representations of hyperviolence and mutilation already exist in Purple Haze, C-Moon's inside-out effect, and D4C's Menger Sponge effect. I just think this is a nonissue and ultimately, very few are going to care that Risotto suffers the loss of his visuals because woah! Playable Risotto Nero! The fighting game will happen first and foremost. Also, I really don't see why ASB and Last Survivor would have differing levels of censorship, they both have the same ratings and are published by the same company; why would one iteration of a character occur because of more lax censorship? Anime games are anime games, ASB isn't a JoJo game meant for toddlers just because it's a different genre.

Their ‘censored’ abilities still combine well with their physical capabilities to make a unique-looking moveset. Metallica on the other hand, can’t fight physically in any way. The ability pretty much comes down solely to mutilation (and invisibility I guess), so it would look super lame to have a character who’s stand ability is to have some razors pop out of the enemy’s head while a generic flinching animation plays. You can’t seriously compare Purple Haze to Metallica and not realize how one is far more suited for a fighting game. Some characters just aren’t right for a JoJo fighting game despite being important. If fans seriously value his inclusion over doing the character justice, then they’re being short-sighted. They’ll love that he’s in at first and then proceed to forget about him when they realize how much cooler all the other characters moves look in comparison.

Replace Tooru with pet shop and I think that’s pretty solid. Having read the manga, I don’t think Tooru would be made well in a fighting game, just because of how his stand works. If Tooru is added to the game in any way it is as a map hazard.

@Leath-bit brainstorm some ideas for me then. GER resets things to zero, nerf it, put it in the game, easy. King crimson, skips time, easy. How do you put WOU in? Maybe if they cause all of the map hazards to fight the enemy than that could work, but it takes away player control. We've never seen Tooru even throw a fucking punch in the manga. He just stands there while people attempt attack and fucking die. He was only defeated because of something that doesn't exist, so it can't technically 'pursue.' What kind of fighting character doesn't fight? That's Tooru's whole damn thing. That he doesn't fight. Speed King, Space Trucking, Nut King Call, Killer Queen, Vitamin C, and Doggy Style are some stands from that part that could easily be made into fighting characters. WOU is a concept that doesn't attack, literally.

The confirmation of tooru being the main villain of part 8 is that in the jojo magazine, it showed all of the main villains of jojo (Dio, kars, kira, diavolo, etc) and Tooru was also shown as well which is confirmation.

I think it's very possible we're getting more Part 5 characters since it is the most popular in Japan along with Part 3. If not Rissotto it could be Ghiaccio. Regarding Part 3 characters, I think Oingo and Boingo could make a good joke character, or Midler (the High Priestess user) as a reference to Heritage for the Future.

The only reason Joshu is in EOH is because there were so few combat stands to choose from part 8 at that point. Now you got Born This Way, Vitamin C, Heat King, Wonder of U, Doggystyle, which still isn’t a lot but any of these would be better than Nut King Call

If Diego makes it in, I feel like him turning into a Dinosaur would be what his ultimate is, like how Giorno's ult. is GER and how Kars' ult. is Ultimate Kars in the original All-Star Battle. As for the rest of the list shown, I feel like Joshu and Weather Report are the only two I don't really see getting in. Weather Report is already a stage hazard in the prison stage (which is confirmed to be returning cause of the trailer). As for Joshu, not only is he also a stage hazard for the Wall Eyes stage (unless that stage gets reworked to better fit Part 8) but from what I can tell with how Joshu's stand works, I'm not entirely sure how they'd be able to do an interesting moveset with him without just using the moveset from EoH (though I'd like to be proven wrong) As for who I'd think could replace those two in terms of predictions, Yukako would be a good replacement for Weather Report (if she doesn't end up being a stage hazard for Boing-Boing Cape that is) and I can see her having a revive option like Bruno does. As for someone to replace Joshu, I think a different Part 8 character would make sense to go for, so my pick was Kei Nijimura because, out of all the Part 8 characters I read up on, she'd be the coolest to see moveset potential wise (though if not her, then probably Jobin)

If there is gonna be a new part 3 charater than it's got to be Alessi or Khan. Alessi may be weak against normal charaters but can nerf the opponent by turning them into kids and being able to do massive damage. Khan has a sword and spins so instantly cool.

SPOILERS FOR PART 7 AND 6 AHEAD Diego’s ability “scary monsters” allows him to turn objects and people into dinosaurs including his limbs it’s pretty much the vampire of the Sbr universe except cooler and a stand ability. Diego obtains this stand by using the left eye of the holy corpse but it later fully becomes his stand Meaning he doesnt need the left eye to use it anymore. Eventually Diego dies and is replaced by a au version of him brought by funny valentine. Alternate universe Diego’s stand is called “the world high voltage” and it’s completely the world but more American. He can stop time throw knives and punch do i have to say more? Foo fighters ability “foo fighters” just makes a hive mind of plankton incredibly smart meaning yes foo fighters is a bunch of plankton inside a human body. Pretty much the only time she ever uses her stand is to create a gun out of plankton. The drawback is that she needs water to sustain herself or she will completely disintegrate. Hopefully you enjoyed me rambling about Diego and foo fighters and maybe it gave you some insight of how they would function in the game.

The "source" on Tooru being playable was a fan video someone made that people were claiming was real... the creator didn't really pass it off as real anyway I don't think, it seemed just like some editing fun, but a few people definitely seem to think it was real. For the most part, I agree with this list, although I think instead of Speedwagon we'll get Mariah, EoH has a lot less moves than an ASB moveset needs to fill out a movelist and Speedwagon might struggle to fill them without requiring a lot of extra dev time as he would need a new "Style", while Mariah is also probably easier to adapt into ASB as she has a more direct fighting ability and has Heritage For The Future to pull from in terms of more traditional fighters, not to mention the ESRB page indicates a character puffs up their chest, sounds like Mariah to me. I also think Stroheim might be Yukako but I'm less sure about that. My personal most wanted character is a Josuke 8 & Yasuho tag-team, unless Josuke 8 is being revamped significantly his current moveset doesn't really represent his abilities at all, and Yasuho is the 2nd most important character from "JoJolion", although her Stand isn't really suited for fighting (most of her fighting involves her grabbing stuff and hitting people over the head with it) so I think they'd probably have to bundle her with another character for her to get in... so, Josuke & Yasuho team is what I want. A close second would be Satoru Akefu from Part 8, another Part 8 antagonist, followed by Tamaki Damo, yet another Part 8 antagonist... Part 8 is my favorite, lol. Joshu and Tooru would also be cool, I like both of them, but they aren't my first choices for a couple of other reasons.
