JoJo Eyes of Heaven: Playable Heaven Ascension DIO

Playable Heaven Ascension DIO which is able to be used by the player, certain attacks freeze the player such as team supers. Keeps most of his boss moves such as teleporting when outside of the map, however, his time stop doesn't seem to trigger. He can also use a small teleport on command.
This was done using a memory editor in order to change the currently selected character to the "Boss Version" of Heaven Ascended DIO.
The game is running on the RPCS3 Emulator.

I can't tell, is this as strong as the boss version of ascension Dio, or is this just like use the codes or whatever to get a re-skin of Dio. So your playing as Dio just with a different skin. If to these two, then is it just a nerfed version of the boss, which can only be unlocked through the use of changing up codes, using CE and whatnot? If it's the third option that's just stupid. I haven't played before that's why I'm curious, but I'm still gonna say if it's the third option that's just stupid, cuz why add a secret Dio you can only unlock by hacking and then it's just a nerfed version of the story mode one. Shouldn't that just be playable to begin with.

The final boss version uses scripts and events in order for it to be as strong as it is, the developers also needed to program a character to use the scripts and events in the final battle, but was never planned to be playable which is why it plays worse/clunkier then when the boss uses it. It's not a reskin and still keeps a ton of the strong boss moves which are different to normal Dio's, but is not able to stop time/use the shield, use cutscene skills or heat moves that the boss Dio used in the story due to it lacking the scripts used in the final battle. You can tell it shouldn't be used outside of the boss fight as when you spawn the boss as a enemy outside the final fight it lacks any AI.

You would need a slightly different method to do it since you don't usually get to pick a character in story mode, but its not worth playing through the story as your automatically level capped at 1, and do almost no damage.

DIO OH is able to be selected due to how they made the final boss fights use a character with an ID, portrait, and move-set like the rest of the characters. The only difference is it can usually only be selected by the boss and not the player.

You can right-click the game in the RPCS3 UI then select "Change Custom Configuration" - prntscr.com/sd3747 Then these are the settings I'm using. prntscr.com/sd38hx prntscr.com/sd38si After that, you can boot that specific game with the custom config - prntscr.com/sd38z9 You can change some settings like anti-aliasing to lower, including the resolution for 200 to 100 if it lags too.

Either Over Heaven it's not that strong or you just play very very bad

OverHeaven Dio is very clunky and does not play like other characters that are actually playable, locking you into attacks and having a combo which stops you from moving completely. He also does not retain his extra armor/shield from the main story and doesn't have access to some of his boss moves, with the added fact that his ultimate's/heat attack are completely broken. There's always a tutorial in the description if you want to try it for yourself.
