Honestly, the story here leaves a lot to be desired. Fun fighting game, great to show to people out of context, but they missed an opportunity for a badass Jojo crossover crisis in favor of a sort of “Hey, Jotaro’s really awesome, isn’t he?” thing.

If anything, Eyes of Heaven's story should have been worked on slowly. This may be my assumption but...Araki might have wrote it as fast as he could during the deadline while working on Jojolion. And sadly, we didn't get any on-screen family bonding with the Joestars. At least the fans make up tons of fanservice online.

I think that was intentional, actually. I'm trying to figure out what the significance of each part to each Joestar is. "Hat Josuke" = Heart, due to his love for Yasuho Johnny = Legs, because he's a parapalegic Jolyne = Arm, for her ORAORAORA's Hair Josuke = Other arm, since it's the fourth part (hah) and DORADORADORA Giorno = Head, because he's the brains of the Mafia Joseph = Ears, because he pretends to be hard of hearing (and later is) Jonathan = Eyes, because his are the first eyes we see through Jotaro = Torso, since he pulls all the plot pieces together (or because he took a bunch of knives to the chest)

I appreciate the crossover and all, but seriously? Giorno and Jonathan have no reaction to Dio? I also wanted Johnny to retaliate a bit more when Dio took the corpse parts. This game looks more like a way to make Jotaro shine than anything else. The Jonathans and Josukes didn't even address each other for having the same name.

Fun Fact: When Made in Heaven DIO shows up, Johnny, Giorno, and Jotaro attacked first. This symbolises that they are either the strongest or the popular stand. Because: Star Platinum has the ability to stop time that even DIO didnt know about Golden Experience is the 1st requiem stand and the strongest of all stands. Tusk is the 1st stand to recieve its 4th act and has the ability to counter D4C's power At least thats what i think about.

I'm still pissed off that Jotaro is the only one that Dio aknowledged (and by extension the only one that landed a hit in this entire fight), Dio lived with Jonathan for 11 years before using the mask and Giorno is his bastard son (among other bastard sons he has), couldn't they be aknowledged too instead of Mr. Edgelord with weird hair hat collision all the time? What is the point of showing up all of the protagonists if they are not going to do shit? Giorno, Johnny and Jotaro were the only ones that left their spot while Joseph, Jonathan, Josuke, Jolyne and Gappy didn't do anything and standed idlessly. And man it seems the Holy Corpse has favorites because Jotaro is the only one that holds his part, what a fucking surprise.

This game came out before Part 3 was out and around the time Part 2 airing. EOH was hyping the part 3 Anime which is why the story mode in this game focuses a lot on Jotaro as the protag and tends to give special treatment to him Part 3's narrative. That said I think out of every Joestar present DIO would pay special attention to Jonathan and Giorno. Jonathan is someone he has history with and someone he admired and respected as well as the only person he acknowledged as being his other half. Giorno being DIO's son and has an incredibly powerful stand which DIO respects. They would be the two Joestars he would give an importance to especially since they are part of him or of him (Jonathan literally is his body and Giorno is part of him and Jonathan). With Jotaro I guess he would just shit talk him because he hates him but Heaven Ascencion DIO killed his Jotaro so he wouldn't see him as anything special. The other Joestars would be irrelevant to him.
