I'an an Artist myself,but an Indie artist who is not so famous .but its cool..People like JOJO.was signed so young for them to earn from her. They knew by investing in her the gamble was that she would grow,and they would earn some more.Thats the purpose,to earn money with the artist. I didn't know how pervasive she was in America.
