@@jessica6102 "Your generation"...lol...i've loved JoJo since the very beginning and it's absolutely no disrespect towards her. But a musician overcoming trials and obstacles does not automatically make him/her a "legend". A musical legend is measured by musical legacy and number of albums and hit singles, awards, groundbreaking achievements, being active in the game for at least 3+ decades, influence and impact on artists who came after her. THAT'S the true definition of a legend. JoJo hasn't achieved any of that yet, of course due to Blackground fucking up her career. JoJo is amazing and definitely has great potential to reach that status one day, but it's too soon, she still has a way to go. She's only been active for 16 years, so let's not exaggerate. Her losses that we'd witness on the sidelines or first hand accounts and her triumphs that she did on her own and we may have helped here and there but she still never gave up and gave us hope in our own lives to stay strong no matter what. Articulate, lol, every other word out of her mouth is "like". She sounds typically, inarticulate for a young woman in the industry. You can tell she never got an education and decided instead to try to become a star instead when she speaks. That doesn't mean I'm not sympathetic to what happend to her with that scumbag agent or manager, A&R person who may have caused her to spiral into depression and substance abuse. But that's kind of very typical.

Kaitlyn Marcak she was gaslighted. I guess it depends on your interpretation of gaslighting but she was made to think it was her idea, that she needed to lose weight in order to be more successful. They planted the idea in her head without actually outright saying it, that’s a form of gaslighting.
