To give info without spoilers: each Part is isolated to a degree, as each main character is JoJo (JoJo is a nickname, the first JoJo is Jonathan Joestar.) The Bizarre Adventure refers to the Joestar bloodline and you’ll see how each of their stories play out. Part 6 is the last/current Part as an anime and released fully in December last year. Parts 1-2 have a different power system from 3 onwards (Part 1 is basically Fist of the North Star, while Part 3 is the inspiration for the game series known as Persona.) JoJo is an old series that has inspired many anime and games (Street Fighter and Tekken has some characters based off of certain characters in JoJo.) Since you mentioned it in the episode, no, none of the Parts are ‘side stories’ and they’re all connected in some way. Your other questions I won’t answer, since they’re spoiler-y. However, the artstyle both changes and doesn’t (?) You’ll find out in the anime (the OPs for the first few Parts were done by a special studio, which is why the other OPs are different, except for the last OPs because the studio came back to animate those.) A tip if you plan on reacting to the anime: Part 3 should be reacted with multiple episodes per video, unless you’re reacting to each episode daily. The reason is because they did a 1:1 adaptation for Part 3 and ends up being really long, despite technically being shorter than the Part after it (multiple fights are separated into many episodes, instead of grouping shorter fights together and saving those for longer fights like later seasons.) There are people who like to sneakily spoil JoJo, either intentionally or not, so be careful in the comments.

More details in the artstyle, beyond the animation studio. This is a 30+ years old series, and the author has evolved his style of drawing, and changed it multiple times. The anime has done a great job reflecting that. Even in the openings, You can see that the early JoJos has a more angular, more muscular frame, while the later JoJos are more stylized, owning more femenine traits. The author though the years has taken inspiration from a multitude of media; music, 80s movies, modeling and pop culture.

You kinda figured it out I think but the special openings are for the most part the openings affected by the main villain of that arc. You'll see the specific ways in which they do once you get around to them if you decide to watch the series xP These cover 6 generations of the Joestar bloodline, that's why the characters seem to change and so do the settings. Without spoilers about what goes on exactly with the openings, these are the general dates and locations: -Opening 1 is England in the 1890s. -Opening 2 starts in New York in 1939 but moves to various European locations during most of it. -Openings 3 and 4 happen in 1989 and are a trip from Japan to Egypt. -Openings 5, 6, and 7 are entirely in a sleepy town in Japan in 1999. -Openings 8 and 9 happen in 2001 and are about Italian mafia. -Openings 10 and 11 happen in a Florida prison in 2011. All in all from the start of the first opening's story to the end of the last opening's there's a span of a little over 120 years.
