Alex is actively contributing to covering up those allegations by *LYING* in his thumbnail. Everyone has covered the fact that she BOUGHT the song so he 1000% knew that and still directly lied in his thumbnail with the obvious intent of getting more attention. Attention that should and would be going to videos about those allegations if selfish people like him weren't lying for views. It doesn't get any lazier or more selfish than being absurdly late to cover a topic and then lying to compensate for the fact that everyone has already watched other people's videos that came out when the story was actually still news.

She didn't steal the song, it was given to her and she just recorded an inferior version for her disastrous and hilarious rebrand, and she took credit like she's somehow revolutionary despite having no real vocal, instrumental, or songwriting talent. Some of Brit Smith's vocals are still left in the background in the chorus, I think. I'm glad that Brit Smith has received some late recognition for her talents, though. Hopefully it will encourage her to release her own music independently, now that there's a proven audience.

The song was written and was open for sale, like a lot of songs ~ Miley recorded it but never released it, then Brit recorded it with limited release but the song remained available for purchase. Jojo bought it and released it. The audio engineers would have to have cranked the autotune machine to 101% red hot - if you've heard her singing in her car, it's like nails down a chalkboard! It's funny seeing a know it all 20 year old taking her foot out of her mouth to then put the other one in! She didn't steal the song. Elvis didn't write any of his songs. Jojo needs to stop talking. The video is one of the worst lit sets I've ever seen, having worked in theatre, tv and film. The record company said no so she financed and directed it herself- and it shows! 🥴

It is interesting how people get so bent out of shape over artists not writing their own music. It wasn’t that common until pretty recently, being a songwriter was a pretty in demand job. That’s obviously changing now that many artists opt to write their own songs. I think big issues with these Jojo stealing songs accusations is the fact that labels selling or switching songs meant for other artists is super common, especially within the kpop industry for example Ko Ko Bop by EXO was originally meant for Red Velvet. Also, this all is pushing what some of the children went through from trying to get into XOMG! Pop or even those who made it into the group.
