Interesting note is that the manga at first said Will had no family, so when Araki brought in Caesar he apologized and edited part one so it would mention that William had left his family.

The subtitles may say the name is "Santviento" but his real name is actually not that, it is "Santana", if you listen closely. This is so that they can avoid copyright. Santana is a rock band, and this is not the last time you'll see names named after musical bands and songs being changed due to fear of copyright. The whole JoJo community uses the original names instead of the localised ones.
