@@harish9763 When diluting essential oils with a carrier oil, it's important to follow these dilution guidelines. I’ve struggled with acne for many years, and just started using jojoba oil. I’ve only used it 5 days, and my skin is so bad now! Is the skin supposed to purge? I’ve been trying to learn the difference between purging and breaking out, but I think it’s so difficult to understand! For me it seems like all my breakouts are coming to the top of my skin and want to get out, but I don’t know if it’s normal or not, or if I’m having a bad reaction. Heard so much about it, so I really want it to work 🙏🏼
@KirstyKirby4 жыл бұрын
Oh I’m so so sorry to hear that! You may already be doing so, but One major tip is to use a very small amount, less than seems needed. 3 drops should be enough for your entire face, leaving no oily feeling on the skin after a few minutes. As with any product, natural or otherwise if it continues to cause issues either discontinue use, or try using less frequently (for example retinol can be severely irritating for some and can only be used once a week, rather than every day like some use it) Are you using alongside other products?
@annieyourbro4 жыл бұрын
Kirsty Kirby thank you for the answer! I only use 2-3 drops when I use it. Every morning and night. I only use cleanser and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, and then I use jojoba ☺️ Maybe my skin is reacting, it’s so hard to tell 😟 I don’t know what to do with my skin anymore 🤷🏼♀️

Linda Passos do you mean Morrocan oil the brand? I know the brand, they’re obviously based on Argan Oil which I enjoy too. Other oils and hair products I’ve used for curly hair always just make my hair look oily like I haven’t washed my hair in awhile which I do not like. @@mansipal2922 yes! When I combine it with my conditioner I also use a scalp massager which I’m sure helps as well. Combining it with my conditioner does help a lot with not making my hair look greasy, but you can tell a little. It just looks like I haven’t washed my hair in a day or 2 which I can deal with 😁 it also definitely helps with frizz right now with it being winter time 👍
@melisue7487 Жыл бұрын
@@Scapegoated_Soulmate I started using baby shampoo and conditioner since it has no added chemicals in it. That’s why it doesn’t burn little ones eyes. It’s gentle on not just little ones hair, it’s gentle on everyone’s hair. There’s many brands, but I stick with the known and buy Johnson&Johnson. Then I add just a couple drops of jojoba oil in my conditioner and use a scalp massager while shampooing and while putting in my conditioner. So I’m sure the shampoo and conditioner with the added jojoba oil and massage is all helping. Massaging your scalp for at least 30 min a day increases blood flow which helps with hair growth. I also like to use it with the baby shampoo and conditioner because it doesn’t suds up like other shampoo, so it might not feel like you’re cleaning your hair good, but it is cleaning your hair just as well as other shampoo, if not better. I also only clean the top of my head and let the shampoo run down my hair as I’m rinsing out the shampoo, and I put very little conditioner on the top of my head and the majority of it on my tips and let it sit in my hair for about 5 min or so. Then the last thing I do or I should say don’t do is I don’t scrub my hair. I gently run my fingers through it to spread the shampoo and conditioner around. Scrubbing will cause breakage and split ends

Thanks for the information about Jojoba oil. I have dandruff really bad. I sill definitely be massaging my hair and scalp with jojoba. I should leave it on for ten minutes, then rise off? 😀
@KirstyKirby4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sam, yes you will definitely need to rinse out. When I do this i will massage into the scalp and then leave it to sit for 10 minutes, sometimes longer (I've had no reactions to any oils so worth bearing in mind everyone is different) and then wash out. I tend to do it in combination with putting oil through my hair as a treatment before I plan to wash it. Hope that helps

Can I use jojoba oil foe my eyelashes I did my researches and I showed that it is good for moisturising my lashes and protecting it and how to protect my eye if it is safe all thanks for all your tips 💖💖

Hi Marah, would you share your source and I can take a look. If you are careful and there should be no real issues so long as you don’t have any allergic reaction to jojoba oil on the skin, but I tend to only share more clinical based research in my oil videos 😊

does jojoba oil ever dry your skin. I've used coconut oil and it really drys me out. my hands are like sand paper. 😒
@KirstyKirby3 жыл бұрын
Oh no that sound horrible for you! No I can’t say that I have found that. Sometimes if too much oil is applied too regularly our skin can try to compensate by producing less. Not saying that’s what is happening here, but if applying a lot maybe try using less? A different oil might work better for you too. I always say oils are a tool but not panaceas, and just like any product, natural or otherwise, if it’s not working for you try something else. Hope that helps xx

Unfortunately there is no robust clinical evidence that it works. Anecdotal claims say it does. Based on the evidence I couldn’t make such a claim so up to you if you decide to give it a try.

what about layering...meaning for people who wear cologne and fragramce, or perfume..you could use unscent oil first to make the scent last longer on skin?
@KirstyKirby4 жыл бұрын
This is not something I've ever come across as a recommendation that works. If anything it could possibly dilute the fragrance. But do feed back if you try it and it works for you, I'm sure others would be interested. If you mean layering in the way that you can purchase moisturiser that is the same fragrance as a perfume, I suppose you could try mixing yourself but I'm not sure it would be very cost effective, and also I'd exercise caution in doing so as could potentially cause skin irritation.

I’m really sorry I couldn’t offer advice re using on a baby. In theory it should be fine but I would exercise caution and maybe do a patch test first.

Do you think I can use it on my ends and mid hair to ends, with castor oil on my scalp, I have really dry hair and I used to use coconut oil on my hair for dryness but people said it’s bad and better to use jojoba, so here I am. so can I?
@KirstyKirby4 жыл бұрын
Personally I don’t think coconut oil is ‘bad’ but it is more comedogenic than other oils so can cause breakouts on the skin, and could do so on the scalp. I have used coconut oil on my hair in the past but I found it was quite difficult to properly rinse out and left my hair greasier than I’d like. I have used both Argan oil or Jojoba oil for dealing with flyaways and for conditioning treatments so sure it would work for your purpose
