I’ve actually learned to really appreciate the Thornography album! Not only musically but also the lyrical aspect of it. One thing I really love about the Lords of Filth is that they do something quite different from each album. I easily got bored with bands doing the same thing over and over for 30 years! And I think Damnation, Nymphetamine and Thornography were a cool diversion and middle finger to the Black Metal fanatics 🤘

What tuning do CoF use? I imagine they use various tunings, but is there a most commonly used one?

Yeah most of these are in D standard. I think just the last one was in drop C.

Queen of wintre throned fuck yeah! Phallustein was their best record! In 90th Cradle were a pure gothic poetry in sound. In '00ths Paul Allender almost runed the band, glad, they are in good shape now. Aslo, Trornography was a nice touch :3
