I managed to get it installed and have my API key entered in but when I attempt to fetch a command (same one as in your example) it just hangs on "fetching command" but doesn't go any further.

Gets stuck on "Fetching command..." using Max 2023. Any suggestions? Also, there appears to be a spelling error on "maxscript" - not sure if that's causing an error.

i see the potential for future animation. imagine typing make ocean waves with ocean green mapping and avoiding object 1 and object 2, etc... will save so much time.

Wow! This is wild! I'm wondering: Do you know if it is possible to have a custom window/panel with ALL my most used scripts, buttons etc on? I feel this would be so handy on my dual monitors, one screen has just a maximum Max viewport, then my other monitor has all my scripts, tools, buttons, layers etc. I imagine there's something available somewhere, but I have no idea, but I think the swiss army window would be very handy, not only for accessibility, but also decluttering the workspace.

well i tried something like this a month ago (without the plugin) anything more complex than a simple geometry wasn't possible. I asked for a firetruck...unsatisfying result.

mhm,one day maybe will be posible,but we can not expect chatgpt do models for us for now,millions of 3d models should be in chatgpt,so chatgpt can not make for now,elephant,dog,croc,ferrari car etc??

I must be doing something wrong. I get "Write a 3ds Max maxcript script. - I only need the script body. Do not add any explanation. The task is described as follows: create a box " any ideas?

@@jokenadrian Getting the same, when I open the max listener window shows some red errors and something saying you exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details. I even tried with a brand new account in OpenAi and I get the same result.

The main issue with this is that GPT written code won't properly match maxscript syntax, neither ms nor py.

​@@jokenadrian Ok, figured it out after watching the Walkthrough video. I was totally overlooking the "FILE" option at the top. I feel dumb now(hahahaha). I asked it to create a car and it was quite hilarious. Thank you for posting this and I hope all goes well.

all just depends on the model it's learning from and gaining knowledge. I'm sure it will continue to only get better.

Half of that has been achieved: Chaos Vantage realtime raytraced rendering ♥️ goodbye to those weeks to months of rendering times. Now the AI is coming to solve the waste of time for complex scenes. Just imagine you say "Girl wearing a victorian red dress running down the stairs out of a renaissance palace. And it is done! Character animation, cloth and hair solutions, scenery geometry, vegetation animation, everything done. So you only focus on the pleasure of the details here and there to achieve the perfection of you dreams. And in my case, I'd save my time to sit at my piano to compose the soudtrack (don't need gpt for that) Nowadays, max consumes all my entire time in the scenes creation. I'm so tired of that...
