So Wolfmother always struck me as one of those bands that were kind of counterculture to the pop punk wave that hit in the mid 90s to mid 2000s; they went with a much more raw sound in the production and reminded me a lot of music out of the 70s, both in composition and production. So hearing a cover of them with production techniques more akin to the pop punk bands is definitely a weird experience for me. Not a bad one mind you, it sounded great. But definitely a very different vibe to the song from the original.

Someone showed me Wolfmother's debut album when it was pretty new, and I always thought this was a better tune than "Woman" which was the one that made it into/ was made famous by Guitar Hero 2. Lots of great tunes on that album though, I recommend it.

Every time I play Lego DC Villains Joker and The Thief (The Original) plays on the start scenes but i instantly stop and head to my apple music library and listen to your version. Audra's voice is more moving than Andrew Stockdale plus she has a certain presence and charm to her voice plus your music video is just plain awesome. Rock on First to Eleven. Suspected that this song would not work with Audra´s voice, but it did! Wow, the band is so close to the original, and I know that this is not an easy player. The double tracking, especially of Audra, is giving the song a modern sophisticated vibe, which sets it apart from the vintage raw Wolfmother orig. I´m clearly in the F211 target audience group, and wish I would find more Rock elements in Concrete Castle. But hey, that´s for another group of fans, and I appreciate the huge talent to deliver such diversity.
