There is an easier way to remove the motor. I simply loosen the lower barrel pivot mount (for lack of a better name) which allows the motor to tilt just enough to clear the shock mounts and frame brace.

You can take tge motor of by taking of the middle diff and gear box... just 4 screws. And 2 screws on the driveshaft

You could have just took off the bottom left screw as well on front motor plate... Much simpler than all that

Find red rubber sealed bearings soon as those metal ones are not very happy with water

Actually yes. Not by much but when running in hot conditions this does make a difference.

Soo many unnecessary steps here wow. Don't take off ANY of that rear shock bracket and mount. Open the battery compartment and bend the chassis down. Its flexes so much the motor pulls right out.
