I put the mamba monster x esc and the 2200 on my e revo 2.0 and changed my gears I hit 85 and the stock transmission housing tore up I had to buy a whole new trans casing and rebuild it all.

Great build. Very clean sir. Not enough people building off the Revo platform. How sturdy is that mount? I want to put a bigger can in mine, maybe a 1717 - but it'll be for some big air and bashing, not speed running. Will that mount hold up to big smacks?

You dhould be going way faster than that with that motor. What's your gearing? Maybe switch to Castle ESC

Lennie Kroher ...2,Questions...in your best opinion modifying a spur gear to fit the shaft will not affect the transmission… Or do they have spur gears that will fit the Revo 2.0 shaft…

@@ross.newman2716 they make mod1 gears that will adp to your slipper clutch or you can get a slipper clutch eliminator and still bolt the mod1 gear. Search on Google mod1 gear for revo. I have a redcat and used a 34t pinion as my spur gear, just notched a groove on the shaft for the set grub screw.
