I had the same reaction watching last trailer !!! Watched it legit... Over 100 times before I watched the movie. When the movie was over.... After finding my self wiping tears away throughout this movie... I realized.... At 44 years of age...I just saw a masterpiece. I'm talking on all levels .. acting, cinematography, the f****** score was amazing , writing and directing and all supporting cast .... It was a fucken masterpiece through the eyes of sometime who looks at movies deeper than the average 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Batman and his antagonists are in the dirtiest, grittiest most dangerous and maybe the most realistic city in comics and this is how it should be treated. I can't wait for October :-)

Joaquin Phoenix is so "Taxi Driver"/"King of Comedy" and "Arkham", brilliant. Besides, Phoenix has this natural vibe of being in the thin line between sad and furious. "Pogo's", the club Arthur performes has the nickname of the serial killer John Wayne Gacy, who introduced himself as "Pogo the Clown" in children's parties and fairs where he targeted his victims. Dark. PS: 8 min of standing ovation and shouts of "Bravo" in "Joker" debut in Venice Film Festival is a big sign of how good the movie is.
