Good review 👍. Shame because this could have been really special honestly. If Todd has approached this film with more love and respect for the character and the source material, it could have been a smash hit. Sadly he's made it known how much he hates super hero properties, doesn't respect the genre, and basically thinks it's all beneath him

Thank you very much! I agree. There are a few directors now who like to bash superhero movies and say they’re ruining film, but I would most certainly argue against that. It’s just an increase of bad or non-memorable movies in general that I believe is a part of the issue. Hollywood as a whole needs to get back to quality, no matter what genre it is, because it wasn’t super long ago when superhero movies were pretty consistently good.
