Tech chasing actually sparked my love for the game, because I realized that the gameplay was deeper than just hit the opponent, that was a while ago in Smash 4 but jab locking will always be my favorite because of that

Hey Cozy, love your videos, and thanks for replying on Discord. I've seen your back air guide (and your other guides), but what I'd really like to know is which buttons you use for jumping and air attacks, and when. For example, do you always use C-stick for aerials and shoulder button for jump? What about short hops? Up air? First hit fair? I know some people use the A button for aerials sometimes, but other times use the C-stick. Any advice would be helpful!

@@CozyyPR Thanks man -- yeah I've seen your video on that before (but forgot to give it a like til now). I get the controller setup, but do you always jump with the shoulder button? If not, when do you use the shoulder button, and when do you use X or Y?

@@NewLifeNihon i really split them 50/50 tbh. when im short hop dash dancing in neutral i use X (and for shorthops in general) and attack cancels, RAR and most full hops I do with L, tho sometimes I full hop with X too! :D

There was a tech thing that MKleo did that I started doing as muscle memory, but I'm not sure how to follow up. Essentially it's using the bread n butter downgrab fair onto platform, and then when they miss the tech, I use gun to jab lock. But I don't know how to follow up after that jab lock. I could try to put a video of me doing it on the discord if you'd like

@@CozyyPR yes, pretty much like that. In the leffobble video at 3:13 and 3:44, that's the gun tech I do at pretty low percent. (~15%) should I leffobble as a follow up or figure out how to get a harder punish for the missed tech?

As I know, during a tech chase you can kill someone with 2 fair 1 into smash but it doesn't work on floating character so the things I like to do when I know my opponent (and work only with Arsene) is fair 1 into footstool that trick is just to see if they react enough of the footstool, if they don't tech is a free dair, fair 1 or bair if they tech you can cover is 3 options but that you need to read him Hope it going to remember those 🌝

i recommend tilt stick in general, not only for joker! look at my controller setups video for more info on tilt sticking!

i honestly dont think joker is the best at 2 framing, most of the time i get conversions off of dtilts and downguns can clip or 2 frame at times, i already got a couple videos in my list but i’ll put this one in!

it is more difficult to react on wifi yes, but it is entirely possible. and on wifi you can instead try working on reading rather than reacting, since reads are easier but you have to have the correct read obviously lol so its more of a commitment than reacting
