what they're taking from the jojo game isnt any abilities or additions to giorno's arsenal, its just used to see how the GER (which is 1-to-1 the same from the show) reacts to other sources like the reality warping stuff. and since the creator of jojo made the game, its not far-fetched to assume the show GER would react similarly to the game GER

None of the Persona games are connected so you can play them in any order, but P5 is pretty starter friendly from my experience. Cuz it was my first game!

so they do explain some things weirdly. Joker's confidants don't recharge his will, they make his will so unshakable that reality manipulators with higher tiering than GER cannot effect him. The same can be said about sinful shell. GER is strong, but it hasn't shown the level of reality manipulation that characters in persona have that have failed to stop joker's will and sinful shell. if they couldn't stop joker, we can't say GER can simply because "we haven't seen its limit in canon

The funny thing about this matchup is it’s basically the sequel to Dio vs Alucard. Both episodes features father and son (Dio and Giorno) and they fought against a natural black haired, magic users who wears red and black, uses guns, uses blood to gain powers, summons demons, and have an ability called “Third Eye”.

You really don't need to play any of the previous presona games. You can jump in on any of them. They have their own story and the only real connection between them is a certain long nose man with an obsession with the color blue.

@ramzisalim2592 same timeline. There are a few Easter eggs in P5 that hint to other characters. One being a poster that shows a persona 4 character as an idol and one that mentions a persona 3 character as an actor playing a pink power ranger. The Protag of P5 can even battle the other protags of P4 and P3. Implying they already went through their respective stories.

there's no reason not to use Eyes of Heaven lmao, JoJo has an established canon multiverse that's crucial to the plot of the manga, and the mangaka wrote the videogame as a part of that. It's the same author and none of the characters are changed or added to in how they work except for DIO. The Death Battle straight up mentions this too. It's excellent supporting evidence for the several points already brought up in the episode. the beginning of the fight also clearly isn't Return to Zero, but Life Shot. Gold Experience hasn't gone Requiem yet so it can't use any of those powers, the background is blue just like in the example from the analysis, and we even see Joker's consciousness return to his body to take the hits Gold Experience landed on Arséne, just as Wiz and Boomstick explained
