Stina I have commented before when someone said negative things. It is plain to see how much you and Matti love your dogs and how much they love you both. I grew up with cats and dogs in the home and working sheep dogs. They are not kennels they are dog hotels. I know its hard keeping the daily routine every day especially in poor wet and windy. For anyone who has a bad word to say should look at some other so called civilised countries treat their dogs. I love you guys and dogs a happy content circle of love.

I totally agree with you! 2 Years ago I moved to Jokkmokk and I have noticed that they have a very good reputation in Jokkmokk. I met Matti once when I was walking with my dog, it was late autumn and he was training with some dogs and one of the Border collies was running in front of them, Matti just gave a command, and all of the stopped, and the Border collie went down on the floor. I called in my dog and stepped aside, Matti gave another command and all the dogs passed me like I wasn't even there. Very well trained indeed.

2:06 - loved the overhead, drone footage of the kennels 7:39 - I especially like the creativity of the dog house & being able to remove the front when it needs cleaning inside. I had no idea the kennels themselves required so much upkeep, time & effort. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.

Love the "hatch" better than a crawl space.

Most people have wooden floors in their kennels or terraces build them so close to the ground that it's not even possible to crawl under. /Stina

I've just found your channel, lovely place you have. I absolutely love your Kennels, the wood definition does help with clean up. Your dogs are so well conditioned, they are beautiful ❤

Your kennels are fantastic, what a big job that must have been to build them. The option to clean under is really great, I had a kennel for 4 dogs by my garage, the size of them was fine but it was gravel floor. Poops get in to gravel when it rains, you are not always there to pick up poop, and pee also get in. To replace the gravel is a quite heavy job, but have to be done once in a while. I never had more than one dog at a time, it was former owner that built it, he was hunting and had 3-4 dogs mostly. We had one dog and one rabbit out there, separated, but the dog was only out at daytime when we were at work.

Thank you! Yes, it was a big project and took many years when only 2 people were building (me and my dad). So, thankful for my dad's help. I'm thinking of him every day when I'm out in the kennel, seeing the small details and remembering him. /Stina

I’m about to build this for my dryland team… I have tried a few different setups and am sick of the dirt, parasites, dogs getting loose, tie outs failing, food waste etc etc

The proper word for shadow is shade. The dogs have good shade not shadow. Lol it's OK ma. Good work.
@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA7 ай бұрын
Are you sure? Why do they sing about moonlight shadow ? …and isn’t shade like different levels of ex grey? Fifty shades of grey or brown? I’m not an expert on English language. Absolutely not.

@@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA Wow, yes a lot of work, but also a good life. I know what it looks like, I worked with horses and had also my horses at home for 30 years, so it's a 7/7 day and 24/24 hours job. Wish you a good time.
