You get to watch him go from a depressed alcoholic to a healthy and happy sober man who plays video games and loves his family. Plus he just gets so happy when you bring him to the farm. I was a little upset by what phrases were given to him in this modification, because in the original he can find you in caves, and his original dialogue is also very touching. He says, "I almost had a heart attack when I saw your limp body," and is clearly upset by your recklessness. You immediately feel ashamed, you realize that you would be very worried if you were in his place, but at the same time you are also very offended by your partner.
