@@helmutkruger1192 Phiils is a westernized country. Over 300years under spain, 50years under america. We're both east and west, that's part of our culture/identity. That's why many asians go to phl to learn english. Also one of the reasons why expats/tourists go to phl, is bec they can interact with locals in english. Unlike in other asian countries where tourists usually just interact with themselves or in the most 'touristy' places (hotels etc) for locals, bec english is not as widely-spoken

At this point Jollibee is only popular among a niche clientele of mostly Filipinos in the US and it still hasn't broken out in popularity among the general US population. You don't see a Jollibee commercial on any major tv networks alongside McDonalds, KFC, Jack In The Box and Popeye's. There is a Jollibee next to the same parking lot as an In-n-Out not far from where I live. both have drive-thru windows. At any given day the drive thru at the In-n-Out runs circles around Jollibee's in terms of customer traffic, while most of the customers at the neighboring Jollibee are mostly Filipinos and the traffic at their drive thru doesn't even come close to the traffic at In-n-Out. So you really can't say Jollibee is home of the best fried chicken in America when most Americans don't even eat there to make that judgement.
