Well realistically speaking Avdol was only trapped in a dimension of darkness so it doesn't mean he's actually dead he's just lost and the door is easy to find since that psycho vanilla ice is in there with him so if he burns him the stand also will dissipate and free him

If I remember correctly, David Productions wasn't the one making the CGI openings, and the group that was got really busy during parts 4 and 5, so they just didn't have the room to do it. Also, I've seen official 3D models of Josuke from games, and he doesn't translate so well from 2D to 3D.

Could be because Part 4 and Part 5 aren't directly related to the main Joestar v Dio storyline, or that the main Jojos of those parts aren't legitimate children 😂 But it could be just that the studios decided not to use CGI
