In regards to the mulch question at 40:10 . It is easier when you have to clear trees and branches for new holes. Rather than cutting them down and hauling them off you can just shred them on the spot. Not only does it reduce mud, It also preps the dirt underneath as the mulch decays. Making it very nutritious for grass 1-2 years down the road. Unfortunately the way TX is you will always have bare spots in the fairways from foot traffic so I welcome the mulch.

Been loving the coverage and the extra coverage from the other cards. Camera angles leave a little to be desired. They are always at a weird angle rather than looking in the direction that the shot is being thrown on. I feel like I'm doing math in my head to determine if it is a good shot or not rather than just seeing the flight and naturally knowing. If there is a narrow fairway, I want to see the shot go down the lane. Not complaining, just trying to be constructive. Thanks for the content!

great coverage, loving it as usual! one gripe... why do they only show the disc being thrown on the bottom left graphic for like 5 seconds? put it there for the entire turn. I don't get it.
@Ba4rden9 ай бұрын
I gotta say that as awesome as the production quality is, I can't help but miss some sort of persistent "chase card check-in" graphic whenever we're watching snippets from other cards. Don't get me wrong, the frequent check-ins are welcome toward the end of the tournament, but they also make the flow of things a bit incohesive and jarring. I saw someone else comment something similar, so I know this bothers at least two people lol

Hey newbie here to Discgolf coverage: Why and how do they decide which players they are following? Like how are these players the front while there are players ranking higher than them? And why do these 4 players play the first holes now while the 4 players yesterday played different ones further along in the course? Thank you!
@doncampbell93569 ай бұрын
For the first round of each tournament, they do a Feature Card. No idea how they choose those players, but for each round after that, the top 4 players make up the lead card. Idk what that last part of your question means

@30:00 On hole 6, why would you risk OB hard hard kicks into unplayable lays? When I started to play disc golf (about 10 years ago) my home course was SF Golden Gate Park and we had woods holes like 6. You could go for the Grip&Rip, then pray, play that would birdie 30% of the time but mostly boggy. The smart play is just use your putter and throw it 130 ft three times then putt for the par. You walk away with a par and you're still getting strokes and maybe half the people. You can't win a tournament with a single hole but you can damn sure lose it.

I love the checkins, although IMO they should be lined up with the hole about to be played by the lead card. The checkins seemed erratic and sort of confusing. It is harder to compare the leaders play to the checkin play when we don’t see the leaders for 2-3 holes. The Coverage is top notch and I always look forward to watching it. Thank you!

You should consider adding a cut line for the last day. Having the lead card skip holes, play through rain and play in the dark is worse for the competition and the spectators. You could cut the field to 80 players for Sunday. You're only paying the top 50 guys. Something to think about.
