I tried to avoid all the spoilers, stayed away from any social media. I was driving home from work to watch this and listened news from Finnish national radio station. My jaw dropped when they announced that Niklas Anttila had won a disc golf pro tour event. I'm so happy with the way it came. Disc golf is one of the biggest sports in Finland and this means so much to us. Thank you Jomez for making this feel like live coverage.

WOWOWOW. I watched him in person at 2022 USDGC where he only lost because of Gannon's absolute fire putting in the final round. He is such a talented and smooth player and no one on tour deserved it more. The raw emotion had me cutting onions as well.

I remember first watching Niklas when he won the Finnish Nationals in 2020 and thinking this kid has every bit of talent to compete on the US pro tour. At 19, he showed world class angle control, super smooth putting, and the clutch factor. Huge congratulations to Niklas and all our Finnish disc golf fans!!! This is the most exciting and fun round Ive watched yet! As a viewer I loved watching this course, it’s fun when there’s a lot of holes within birdie+eagle range so it’s cool to see the drive in each of the players to show a fluctuating leaderboard and these top tier pros each have their own style. I was watching this live yesterday and I have really been wanting to see him win one, even last week with Luke in the mix, I was impartial to either of them winning but I know Niklas sacrifices soo much for this sport as any and all of our European friends do and the level of respect I have for them to be here in foreign lands, on foreign time to keep playing at the level he's been playing at, it's very well deserved for him to not only have finally won it, but to do it in a manner that will give him all the confidence in the world moving forward. This was an absolute rollercoaster to watch live.
