A brilliant role model for us all from what I've seen. his talent and judgment is exemplary Doesn't take an iq of Einstein to see a big future in store for young master Cole. Many more wins lay in his current path. Go Cole 🔥🖖🏼

I really enjoy seeing Idlewild on Jomez. The first time I stood near where the pad is now and Fred Salaz excitedly pointing down towards where the basket one would one day stand I was so excited about this new course hidden under the weeds for the Cincinnati area. Walking the property with Fred showing me the fairways to be asking opinions... After countless hours devoted by Fred and his few helpers clearing stickers and honeysuckle and small trees with every stump dug up He had created the best most challenging course of the 190+ courses I'd played. It is a gift of Love to the Disc golf community and It is a great joy to me to have helped Fred a little to birth this great course. Freds philosophy was that if you were going to score well here that it will take more than one good shot per hole. Risk and reward, make a good controlled throw to set up your next shot or you're in struggleville. Idlewild punishes bad shots... This style of course is common nowadays but when Fred created Idlewild back in the first Millennium of our game the list was short indeed of anything even close to my knowledge. Hats off to you Fred 🖖🏼 I appreciate your tireless efforts which have help to lift our sport to where we now stand. Every time I play Northwoods Black ...which I helped grunt several days to hack out of the underbrush and weeds too... I believe that Idlewild influenced the thought processes and vision of the designers... taking it another step of difficulty and challenges. Love seeing Idlewild beloved still in the community of Disc golf. Love Northwoods Black too. A big thank you to all the people who work and sweat and bleed and feed the chiggers to birth new course's for us all! 😊 Thank you Jomez for all the great footage. 🖖🏼

These rounds are like my favorite part of a new tournament every weekend! What a stud Cole is, that effortless smooth throw is just.... inspirational lol. (I'm 40 so i can't look to throwers like Calvin for inspiration since it looks like his throw would dislocate every joint and tear every tendon on my body but I think Cole's gonna be crushing at 50 with that buttery swing.)

Once at Wickham Park in Melbourne, FL I saw an old man with a cane who had a flick shot that could out drive anyone I've ever seen. Threw it from the hip like a stone thrower. Never seen anything else like it in 25 years of playing. Anyone can play disc golf. Anyone. That's what makes it beautiful.
