When showing the player profiles, I would like to see the where they are at in the DGPT standings with the points they have in the season. Can you guys make this happen?

That'd be neat. Also, maybe a summary of the players' podium finishes from this season
@tatewinters55656 ай бұрын
I'd also like Jomez to break their chain to DGPT company however way possible. The leadership there is questionable. I'd rather not have them taint Jomez more than they already have. I also could be over reacting so take that into account to.
@JPRyan8166 ай бұрын
@@tatewinters5565Dgpt could probably take away their rights to film the events if they wanted to. That's a slippery slope. I don't think this would ever be a good idea regardless of dgpt's leadership.
@chrispreperato55626 ай бұрын
@@tatewinters5565 Jomez is still operating solely because the DGPT bought them out. They were going to fold because they couldnt pay their media rights that they negotiated a few years back. For now, be happy that Jomez largely gets to operate as they did before...because DGN could have just made them fold up shop and do their own thing instead.
@tatewinters55656 ай бұрын
@@chrispreperato5562 DGPT asked for wayy too much money. My bet is to price them out and force a buy out. Jomez wasnt experienced in handling that kind of strong arm tactic so he had no choice but to sign away his company. With their audience they could have easily leveraged a fair contract. But whats done is done. Doesnt mean I wont stop complaining though

You could hear Gannon's mentality in the practice round when talking to Paul after a first shot Paul wasn't happy with. He said, you haven't lost the birdie till the hole is done. "Birdie is still out there." Apply that same mentality to an entire round and that's why a slow start is ok. Because the hot round is still out there and he just keeps hunting it down.

Someone should let the commentator know that it’s not keeping your knees buckled that causes you to pass out, but it’s when your knees are locked straight for a long period of time. Big Jerm where can I get that hat!?
@Arctic3OD5 ай бұрын
I got curious about Uli's claim that if a disc lays on top of the basket and touches the chains, it's considered in. So I ended up doing a rule deep dive. Here's the PDGA ruling (807 B): "In order to complete a hole with a basket target, the thrower must release the disc and it must come to rest supported by the tray or the chains *below* the chain support." So no, I don't think that counts, at least anymore. I have nothing against Uli, I'm just a techical guy who enjoys finding loopholes and whatnot. Completely unrelated ruling that I found and haven't seen utilized: It's generally known that if you throw OB and your lie is in a place where there's OB between you and the basket, you can move directly away from the basket (optional relief) without an additional penalty stroke. Also works after a 2 meter rule penalty. However, the OB doesn't need to be between you and the basket. The restriction is that you cannot mark your lie in OB. So for example if you're on an OB line that is parallel to the line from your 1m relief lie to the basket, you can also move away from the basket as far as you want.
