It's unreal that his voice is completely untouched by time. Those notes are no joke, and he's still a perfect singer. And this internet band is just killing it.

I've been listening to Yes for over 50 years, and of course his voice has changed with the passing years, and I can certainly hear those years in his voice. I'm immensely grateful to be able to listen still to him sing.
@BaribrotzerКүн бұрын
Ever hear him talk? That's his natural register. Unlike a lot of guys who sing that high, he's not forcing it up there - that's where it is all the time.

How on God’s green Earth can he still sound that good at 80??? That’s truly a gift not only to him but to everyone that loves his music. The Band Geeks are amazing musicians. They really capture every little nuance of Yes’ music. Simply amazing.

Astounding performance! What a band! And Jon Anderson... The guy is 80 and still sings in the same key as in 1972! How many singers today can do that? Simply brilliant by Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks.

Incredible…. I can’t think of another rocker from back in the day that can hit the notes like he can. There might be a few, but not many

Jon Anderson was, is and will be a great singer his melodic voice is out of this world, I was 15 years old when close to the edge came out, and his voice sound today the same than then 1972, great group with him

Wow! This sounds absolutely incredible! Whoever mixed and produced this did a fantastic job! I was at this specific concert in the 6th row. It was an incredible night! It was my 3rd time seeing Jon live. Saw him two other times with ARW. Jon's voice is still going strong even at the incredible age of 80! Thank you Jon and The Band Geeks for keeping the YES music alive and in fine form. Can't wait to get my hands on this concert in March!

Jon is the unique voice of this music. No one else comes close. And this version is tremendously moving. I remember as a teenager, lying on the floor in the living room with headphones on while my family watched TV and being transported to another world by this album.

First of all, Jon's voice is absolutely transcendent and timeless in this live rendition, who I believe is close to 80 here. Amazing! To the Band Geeks - you are are the most phenomenal backing group Jon has ever had. Consummate musicians and great harmony singers!! You guys should release a live album of this Yes material, because I can honestly say that even Yes in their heyday could not do this live as well. The technology now allows for this superb quality and you have all the extra backing musicians to give it the fullest sound imaginable that now finally captures the original recording of 'And You & I' and then some. Please release more of these superb live performances!!

Incredible. saw em live and this is sooo legit. THANK YOU for not doing the AWR crowd noise!!!! I think his voice sounds sooooo good but primarily because the older songs were in this lower range, raspier than later times. Going for the one is super high. and now he is perfectly hitting those early 70s ranges. So impressive. This gave me goose-bumps.

WOW! I just found this. A PRO-SHOT audio/video of Jon & The Band Geeks! Not that I haven't really enjoyed the fan posted clips and concerts but, there is just no substitute for this level of musicianship documented professionally in fantastic video and audio quality. The absolute way to best appreciate the quality of these amazing musicians. To me they are YES, and Yes lives again in full glory. Thank you. Now, I've got to find an entire concert recorded at this wonderful level of fidelity and vision.

I’ve seen Yes too many times to count going back to the very early 70’s, including versions with Trevor Horn, Benoit, and Davison. But it all comes back to JA and his undeniably beautiful voice. Both his work with Yes and his solo efforts are incredible. I met Jon in Orlando several years ago during his 1000 hands tour (just before Covid). He was sick as a dog and still managed to put on a great show. Right after that concert is when everything got shut down for Covid, which he probably had at the time. He’s a wonderful human being and always a class act.
