In 1993, I was lucky to have dinner with Jon and a group of fans after one of his solo shows. He is a fantastic storyteller!

Jon & Vangelis is some of my favorite music. I had the pleasure of meeting Jon and he gave me a signed copy of Page of Life. I wish they would do more together! Their chemistry is magical!

If your a Jon or Yes fan these interviews give incredible insight into how many of these great songs were created by Jon with Yes and Vangelis. He is not only one of the greatest voices of all time but also a genius songwriter. How lucky are we to have 50 years of this guys music.

What a productive time for Vangelis around 1981. "Chariots of Fire" soundtrack, then "Friends of Mr. Cairo". An amazing talent paired with Jon's angelic voice. Good stuff.

John Beaudin, knows how to propperly treat his guests and therefore he brings out the best in them. He knows his guests and their history and does his homework.... so he is the perfect host. He lets Jon Anderson speak without interupting him and that makes watching this video very entertaining especially because Jon is an open book. As Jon speaks, he takes us on a majic journey.... I can see Jon Anderson going strong for many years to come. His voice is as good or better than the Jon Anderson of 1972. I listened to Yessongs and a recent performance of ARW...and I said "wow"...he is truly amazing!!!!! Many of us fans really appreciate the quality and value of Rock History's videos....

The relatively recent J & V remasters are fabulous. Such underrated recordings that deserve to be noticed and appreciated long into the future. There's nothing like J & V albums, they are their own genre. As Jon says, 'happening'. Cool word.

Hi John, Incredible story. What a coincidence that I heard this song last week on my local radio station. What an incredible song... an incredible collaboration. What an amazing vocalist Jon is. One of my favorite in all of music. No one can hit those high notes. Never knew that Jon almost had Vangelis join Yes. Thank you for doing this, God bless and keep well, Tino

Looove that album and the previous one, Curious Electric which was a bit more experimental. The sound is a bit outdated by now but the material remains incredibly strong and the memories are indeleble.

I love that Jon's got such casual descriptions of one-in-a-million masterworks. So funny, even tho it kinda punctures a fan's mythologizing, LOL. =D

It would be great to have a book telling the stories of the time outside of Yes, including recording Olias. This would be far more interesting than the Yes years.

Look on Wolfgang’s Vault. There’s an Anderson show on there. I believe it’s an old King Biscuit Flower Hour show. Not sure from what tour. It’s worth the 4 to 5 dollars a month for a subscription to it.

Right now Jon Anderson is the only YES that there is! Whoever plays with Jon I'm calling that YES after hearing Jon sing makes me happy where does music come from there is only one voice for yes anymore. Jon Anderson. Needless to say I would much rather have Rick Wakeman than Vangelis but Vangelis sounds great to me is Peter Banks alive? Doesn't matter how about Geddy Lee on bass and background stunt vocals is Billy Cobham still alive he could play drums Carl Palmer is he alive Jon whoever you play with you're one 1000 hands solo band I don't care John you have the spirit of yes after all didn't you write all the lyrics for Starship Trooper Tales From topographic oceans fragile are you not the original tofu brown rice feathers bells and seeds praying to God out in the desert while smudging Sage what is yes a heavy metal surrealistic Ragtime Bluegrass jazz fusion vision of what life is to some of us and what life could be for all of us yes has never been a band Yes has always been a beautiful new way of looking at life Everlasting Vangelis Heaven's yes Jon Anderson for all I care you could bring James Taylor and Ozzy Osbourne into the band and if you are writing the lyrics and singing lead and are the front man the only thing that will come out of it as feathers Bells seeds love and hope for a new future in a beautiful Earth where people are loving and kind to each other isn't that your message Jon Anderson yes is not that your message peace Joy Harmony Health wellness and a good life through awesome vibrations I have been listening to Jon Anderson and yes since 1970 I am 62 years old you come to Tucson or Phoenix with Vangelis I will be there with feathers bells and seeds and cannabutter cookies in my mind

Something struck me during this interview... Jon misquotes the album Heaven & Hell as Heaven & Earth... it's almost like that was intentional. He may believe Earth is hell and the afterlife is Heaven. Interesting.

Vangelis would have revitalized Yes. The band needed a new writer and performer. Wakeman and Moraz are primarily performers.

Vangelis in Yes? So glad the band did not go along with that... Yanni, maybe - but not Vangelis.
