Maybe a lesson to be learned here for the younger crowd. I'm 59 and think this is some of the best new shit I've heard in years. The next time you judge an older person as someone who just doesn't 'get it', remember that this old dude got this mutha. Thanks for the inspiration, Jon. Your shit just rocks dude.

I agree man. The beautiful thing about music (that many fail to realize) is that music knows no age or personality. Anyone can enjoy any music they want, regardless of age. I'm glad to see Jon Bellions music is getting out there among others too.

When I was in eighth grade, I was extremely depressed and suicidal and at that time the only thing that kept me going was the thought of the future, but even that wasn't enough. After I attempted suicide for the first time, I started listening to Jon's music. As many other fans, it had an incredible impact on me. Now whenever I'm having depressing/suicidal thoughts, I'll put his music on shuffle and it all disappears for a moment. He's the only reason I haven't killed myself to this day. I owe him everything. It might sound ridiculous to some of you that I rely on some songs to keep me going, but I think we can all agree that music is a powerful thing.

You are constantly being forced to live in a broken society and you feel as if all is lost. But this is just the start of your life. Keep following your dreams and place people in your life who truly love you. Where you can see it in their eyes. By the way, your vids are dope bro. Keep up the good work. AND ALWAYS KNOW WHO YOU ARE. No one's opinion of you matters, because they don't truly know who you are. Only YOU know that. You know who you are. Keep posting and keep striving to become better. Hope this helps

First off, how does the guy who wrote the hook to Monster by eminem only get 4000 views? Second off, this song truly speaks to me. I honestly feel like this song was made for me. I'm 18, making music, worrying and wondering where it will take me, and if I'll be good enough. Jon is proof it can be done and he is such an inspiration. On the other hand, there are millions of kids who make music on youtube... All I can do is try my hardest, be original, be hard working, and keep listening to Jon Bellion!!!

Song is old now but still gold and means so much to me. In the song, he talks about being 19 and dropping out of college. I am currently in that stage. I’m 19 and I’ve had a trainweck of a month mentally and physically. Tonight, I thought about dropping out of college, but I got to keep going and find my passion. I praise God that we were gifted with someone who is as talented as Jon. He is such an inspiration and writes the best lyrics out there. I will never forget about his music

Turning 16 soon, and the next 3 years of my life are gonna be big. Going into year 11. Then going to college and staying for 2 years. Jon bellion, I have listened to your music for at least 1 and a half years now and all the songs you have made have had a moral to them you are very inspirational. The reason why I generally like Jon Bellion is purely because, some of the top singers, if they were to sing on stage without no technology, they would not sound the same because they use more tech to make their music than they do voice. However, jon bellion sounds exactly the same when he performs on stage. Reason being, he includes his vocals in pretty much every single song he has made. God bless you jon bellion! And I hope you hit 1 million soon! We all love you.

here comes my speech. All of jon's songs connect to me and am listening to them all constantly. this songs quote "8th grade, feel depressed as shit" means more to me than ever. I'm in 10th grade but it's close enough. I'm the most depressed kid but no one knows it. I can't stress other people out with my feelings. my friends think I'm "a wuss" because I won't drink but I know if I drink I'll get addicted to get away from my depression. my brother has diagnosed depression and it's ruining my family so I can't let them know how depressed I actually am. Jon's other song all time low is a great message and it is basically my life too. I don't want to make anyone feel bad for me, but simply show that jon bellion's music is very touching and gives a strong message. I will try to stay strong and hopefully get through this part of my life.
