Frank loves his wife with all his life, even being dead, and that's why he is the punisher. You don't know a shit about punisher story so read the comic books. There are no other women for Frank than his wife, even he said that in the series.

I know it goes completely off from both the Daredevil and the Punisher "lore" but as creator/directors if they were to allow the stories and arcs to develop from the natural chemistry between actors then the show is going have that special "something" that can't be contrived, scripted or forced. IMHO that as the difference between S1 & S2 of the Punisher. In S1 the chemistry between Jon and Karen was natural and brought "soul" into the show. Ebon Moss-Bachrach also had strong chemistry but Jon and Karen was at an uncommonly high level.

Many netflix series has lost me as a viewer after these crossover episodes startet. I haven't watched daredevil, iron fist, punisher, the flash, jessica jones, supergirl +++ in a long time. I felt they made to many boring episodes. I managed to torture myself trough 3 episodes of batwoman. Complete garbage. These days 30-40% of the cheap garbage netflix publishes in Norway doesn't even have english or norwegian as first language. I hate dubbed series/movies. NOS4A2 on amazon prime is better than all the super hero series on Netflix combined. Punisher series is above the rest of these super hero series. Probably because I like Deborah Ann Woll.
